145-146 143-144 142-146 in a 15 round fight for a natural 135lber against one of the consensus best Middleweights of all time, and you dont consider that almost pulling it off?

And 71 fights into ANY career is a lot of ring wear, and 1980 when 30 was considered old for fighters at the weight, yes Duran was old.

Consider Benitez was shot by the time he was 26. SRL himself was shot beyond recognition at 34.

People like you look back with rose tinted glasses thinking that circumstances were the same. 30 in 1980 is like 35 for a fighter today.

LOL Pacman is not even Floyd's most important foe imo. Pac was simply a fight that had to happen, and it should've happened sooner, I agree. But to me all the giant young guys that Floyd completely whitewashed, are his most meaningful opponents.

I would say Canelo, due to circumstantial disadvantages, was his top foe!

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Who df gaf about some gloves? Lol Floyd could've made Marcos where jumbo balloon gloves for all I care.

It would take more than Gloves to beat Floyd. You reaching like a mf!!!

I dont care about the CW in the Canelo fight. CW's are designed for smaller men to face bigger men, where they can have an agreed upon weight that both opponents could make. Without the CW, the fight may not have been possible to put together.

Canelo may have come into the ring at 170lbs. But even WITH the CW, this dude was 165lbs, and STILL TOO big for a 37yr old 150lb fighter. Floyd couldnt even make the agreed 152!

And I dont care about no injections to numb hands or an iv or all this other trash. You sounding like a hater, talking about a bunch of NOTHING Lol

Go away with this silly mess, cuz you going all around the point and I could care less about this!!! You Ignorant Moron!!! Hahaha

Pacquiao should have been Floyd's Duran. If you are too ignorant to see that, well... I guess you have to live with that. Everyone else will see it for what it is.

You know Leonard easily beat Duran when Duran was 38. Imagine if that was the only time they fought.

Thankfully we got to see that fight when it was suppose to happen.

            Seriously???

Don't EVER quote me again you lunatic.
Didnt we BOTH agree to drop it and not quote eachother anymore? Lol yet you quoted me!!

The last time I thought we kind of agreed that the stats were WRONG!

Remember? You brought up the absurd stats that Floyd had longer arms than Wladimir and Fury? And I used that as proof that the stats were wrong?

And didnt you already mention how "The greatest fighter of all time doesnt know his own stats"

And I told you, that it didnt matter to me, yet you keep ignoring what I HAD to say, and kept talking around it?

I told you that, if his stats were correct, then it meant that everyone elses stats were wrong right?

Get over it dude. Your so deluded, you dont even realize it.

Pacman is one opponent. That doesnt take away from Floyd's ENTIRE resume. And as I said, that All the other big guys Floyd faced, outshines this one guy that Floyd, INDEED fought at the wrong time. But lets not talk about Duran.

Lets talk about Hagler, who SRL ducked for 5 yrs. See how I did that their? I would more so compare Pac to Hagler, than Pac, to Duran.

Not only that, but SRL cherrypicked Duran as well as Hagler Lol

Duran was past prime, and SRL knew he was too small for him. He allowed, Duran, a guy who cant even speak english, to get in his head.

And he got whipped by a lightweight Lol He cherrypicked him in the rematch as well, and outboxed him the way he was supposed to in the first fight!

You cant really compare SRL to Floyd!

SRL didn't duck him, he retired after suffering a second detached retina in 1984. Which is much different than Floyd's retirements.

                  That is a lie.

                  1. Their was no detached retina, as SRL's doctor confirmed. Its widely known that SRL ducked the dogshiet out of Hagler, and we cant go around changing history.

                  2. When Floyd was a young fighter, everyone said he was the next SRL. And they PROJECTED everything SRL did onto Floyd.

In fact, their is no such thing called "Floyd Cherrypicking" This came from SRL, WHO was the greatest cherrypicker in HISTORY. Floyd doesnt care if your old, young, big, small, fast, tall. He doesnt even care if HE'S too old for you. He's going to whitewash you. This is a simple fact. SRL on the other hand cared about ALL of this, and he needed to feel comfortable in order to face you.

                  3. Their is NO SUCH thing called "Floyd retired to duck.." This came from SRL. Who retired to duck Hagler. Floyd retired to spend all that money, and he began fighting once a yr. Getting a paycheck, and then going around the world on jets. All of this trash came from SRL's scary azz.

                  4. To furthermore, back up my EASY claims(not claims, but facts Lol) Cotto and Margarita are great fighters at best, but you would never see Floyd accuse them of roids. Floyd looked at Pac as something he never seen before. He was legit scared imo. But everyone has a rival, while Floyd most likely felt that although Cotto and Margarita are great fighters, they were below him.

                  5. He came back at a LATER age, and hadnt faced a legit ww, until he was PAST prime. His circumstantial disadvantages, made his return fights FAR tougher than him being in his prime to face Cotto in his prime.

He retired, came back, and faced WAAAY tougher, bigger, younger men.

Its not right for Floyd, a guy who fights anyone, to be crucified for all the scarry azz mess that SRL did. Yet SRL is treated like a king all because he's a throwback fighter and you all like lying about how their greater than they actually are.

You can keep ignoring facts. You just discredit yourself to everyone else with an ounce of sense.

When a quick google and confirm Leonard's detached retina and two eye surgeries.

Or did he just retire for 3 years of his prime to get at hagler? Yeah... thats the best ducking strategy I have ever heard of...

Make lots of money fighting other fighters, or retire for 3 years for health reasons.... And then fight an active Hagler coming off a 3 year layoff...

                    Hrmmm....

                    Yeah Leonard was ducking him.

No, not really. That was a very ballsy move from him.

And seriously. How are you defending Floyd and calling Leonard a ducker?

And why Duran was able to do that with Hagler was because Hagler was a guy that was happy to just box out a win, but if you tried to KO Marvin he would turn into the terminator, Duran lulled Marvin into going to sleep allowing a decision so the size never came into it as much as it could have if Marvin let loose with the intensity we know he has, Marvin had a few fights like this he definitely had a Jekyll Hyde switch .
