    Chavez have LOTS of time to make proper camp and his "Doctor" is with him,it will be hell of a fight and it will make tons of $$$.

    I dont understand ppl who **** on this fight it will be entertaining and action packed,and Bad blood and drama will make it more emotional,keep in mind it is also Oscar vs Chavez Sr.They will go back and forth in media in a build up.

      The penalty may have been them trying to swing their ****s around and show an upper hand in negotions I will give you that. But they were quoted multiple times thinking that Floyd would try and get any advantage he could after the way Pac handled Cotto in 2009.

      no they weren't, it was simply insurance

      and NOBODY had a problem with it, including Mayweather

      attempting to impose himself physically on Pac would not have been a very good idea..... extra weight will not benefit Mayweather, which is why he always came in light when he fought at JMW

      while we are on the subject.....

      the tards who ran around saying that Mayweather's testing demands were an attempt to avoid that fight completely forgot that.....

      1) Pac could have simply called his " bluff ", like he finally agreed to anyway

      2) if Mayweather really wanted to avoid that fight he would never have agreed to 50/50, which was the deal in place when they first negotiated in Dec 2009

      3) if Mayweather really wanted to avoid that fight he would never have agreed to a 10mil per pound weight penalty

        Refused to weight him self again and opted to pay marquez 300,000 per pound he was over...google it....

        he did not LMAO

        why the fk would you argue with me over that ? LMAO

        the official penalty was 500k per pound, with that money going to the commission..... MARQUEZ WOULD NOT HAVE RECEIVED ONE RED CENT

        by renegotiating, Marquez agreed to accept 300k per pound

        bottom line:
        * Marquez made 600k
        * the commission made NOTHING
        * Mayweather saved himself 400k
        * NOBODY missed the new contracted weight

        google it !

              I don't really care about this one, one way or the other. I mean, it's not legitimate or relevant. But, it's understandable why they couldn't pass it up. I've already said I expect it to do good numbers with casuals.

              It's a farce but the one redeeming thing that puts it above Brook/Golovkin is that favored fighter isn't picking on a smaller guy. Other than that, it's the same kind of nonsense. It'll be a fun fight to watch up until the point where you realize Chavez is hopelessly out-classed by Canelo. I think that happens by the end of the 2nd and drags out about 7rds.

                Thats true.

                JMM just wanted a little extra cash. He knew he would lose anyway.

                    It'll be fun, no doubt. I don't like that it holds up a stacked division and prevents the much anticipated, potential jump to 160.
                    But, the consolation is that it'll be entertaining, for however long. Jr has shown that he can be dangerous all the way up through the last minute of the last round so I'll give him that much.
