Just because you say: "take your L" doesn't actually mean that you have won the debate.

    You know that right?
Mayweathers ****ing gimmick to sell fights was not to be liked. More people like Mcgregor so he's a bigger star? NO that's not how it works you absolute ******.

Mayweather is atleast as big of an attraction as McGregor. Anyone trying to claim McGregor is bigger is talking out of their arse.

Funny thing is McGregor has tried to copy Mayweather, but nobody takes him seriously, they see him as a joker instead.

Just saying, after you posted that views thing and Mayweather had more views it kind of just went out of the window.

Mate, that is not true. Floyd has the bigger social media following on every platform. He has 8 million more likes on Facebook, 4.3 million more followers on Instagram, and double the followers on twitter. His total pay per view numbers far exceed McGregor's. And he has generated a lot more money.

Men lie, women lie, but numbers don't lie. The only thing you have backing your argument is who gets more likes on their photos lol. Floyd is retired while McGregor is still active which explains why there is more energy on his pages.

          This is true.

Internationally, he was a bigger star than Floyd was and McGregor is. Which doesn't mean he was a big star per se. No boxer was since Tyson.

But that will change if Joshua beats Klitschko and then Wilder. He'll be a bigger star than Floyd, Pac and McGregor combined.

But Mayweather's top video was a McGregor video

Mayweather's videos generally get around 200k views. His pictures get around 100k likes on average.

Simply not on the same level AT ALL with what McGregor's profile gets.

Mike Tyson transcended the sport like no other in history, only Ali was bigger in this sense.

Joshua has megastar potential, no doubt. He should fight Wilder in America if he beats Vladimir.

We've already discussed this. Mayweather has more followers, yet get 10x less interaction than McGregor how do you explain that?

McGregor is trending higher on all social media RIGHT NOW, in terms of most viewed videos on major networks in the U.S, youtube videos, twitter engagement, instagram, facebook, the lot.

the UFC is a much more international sport than boxing, hence his following and therefore his international fame and popularity simply exceeds anything Mayweather has done.

I mean, the proof is in the pudding. Mayweather is obviously buying a load of fake followers etc etc or his followers simply don't care about him as much as McGregor's do - Either way, proves McGregor's popularity is higher.

Plus, Mayweather wasn't that popular anyway. He was a good promoter, but he was never super popular with boxing fans or fans in general.

Once again, we're not talking about who can sell most PPVs, even though McGregor's last 4 evens have done 1.3, 1.5, 1.65 & 1.4 - With his gates also rivalling Mayweather's. And who has he sold these PPVs against? The likes of Jose Aldo, Nate Diaz and Eddie Alvarez - Hardly household names.

We've seen time and time again when Mayweather has to carry a PPV card - like against Berto or Maidana, he has a hard time cracking 1 million.

Floyd was doing that fighting guys like Ortiz, again with no real undercard support. I'm not discrediting his org. I watch every event. But, he's spouting more promoter-type bullshyt when he's criticizing Floyd's drawing power in any way. None of the guys he;s ever employed have been on that level.
Floyd is star in USA and have drawing power but i agree with Dana here in Poland nobody know him same in France germany and spain(nobody is exaggeration but you know what i mean),and every body know Mike Tyson (international Star). But Floyds money makeing abillty is top notch or was cuse he needs good partner now ,he cant do big PPVs alone now.
