No one has ever drscribed Jr as the brightest color in the crayon box, but to dismiss the nuance of his inside fighting is either hate, lack of boxing knowledge, or a mixture of both. Chavez has showed the ability to fight inside at a high level, foot work inside, stepping around, and changing angles. He also rolls punches very well when he's on the inside. Every boxer has a skill set and a style, as such every boxer is predictable. There are very few boxers who are unpredictable and thats rarely related to the skill or style, it is more often related to the fight plan, and even then that fight plan is built around the skill set and abilities of both fighters.Comment

Jacobs definitely better opponent than JCC especially at 164.5
Khan at 155 is more challenging than Brook at 160
Lara, Trout and Cotto at 154/155 are better opponents than Lemiuex or Murray
Kirkland and Angulo were as good or better opponents than Geale or Stevens
GGG has looked more impressive than Canelo, but Canelo has the stronger resume for certain. Regardless GGG will be ~3 to 1 favorite when and if they meet. Nonetheless I like Canelo in that fightComment

Canelo and GBP have publicly offered $10 million to GGG for a fight. GGG and his team legitimized the offer (Loeffler) and also REJECTED it. Say what you want about ducking, but so far GGG/Sanchez have talked ears off but made ZERO public offers. Just marketing a la Roach/Pac/Arum.
Similarly it was GGG dragging a Top 10 WW up 13 lbs (wasn't even best at WW), offering to fight Froch/JCC at 168 but needing Ward to come to 164 (even though GGG/Sanchez called Ward out at 168), and it has been GGG avoiding Lara or anyone remotely good/his size up to this point in his career. Jacobs is first good opponent, a solid B-level fighter. Can't wait for it !Comment
