The way I look at it is like this. After he was humiliated against Floyd, he got angry and vowed never to let an opponent take advantage of him like Floyd did (Catchweight, way bigger check) and got a diva attitude because he had fought the best fighter in boxing and took that L. SMH.

How many L has GGG taken????? so who's better?
And that line up is still better than g strings. When Canelo had his chance to make his name (vs Floyd) he didn't make excuses, he didn't make outrageous demands and he took the short money. Why? Because Floyd was the A side and in a Canelo/g string matchup Canelo is head and shoulders the A side. A 10 million dollar offer to a fighter with exactly ZERO quality wins is unheard of let alone 15 million.

g string losses? Not to hard to stay undefeated vs that resume now is it. Who's better? With g strings pathetic resume, pretty hard to tell. I always prefer the proven commodity and that's Canelo.

If Canelo loses to GGG, GBP might literally die

        :0
Of course. Its so obvious. GBP has a golden cow in Canelo and they don't want that cow to stop bringing in the cash.

He should get a percentage. I am a fan of Canelo but come on... GGG deserves a percentage just like Chavez jr is getting. It is clear to anyone who doesn't hate GGG that Canelo don't want the fight. Nothing wrong with that. Atleast he left the division instead of chasing paper belts and claiming to be the real champ

Not to hard to get those belts vs that lineup is it? BJS I'll give you but Froch is retired, team g string turned down a fantastic offer from Oscar and in no way did Ward avoid g string at all. It was team g string that insisted upon 164 after accepting 168 for both Froch and Chavez Jr. Clear duck by team g string.

If chavez jr is getting 20% that means lil g only gets 10% if we're going buy ppvs sold.

Agree with it or not, Chavez Jr. brings financial clout to the ring that g string can't match.

When was the last time a fighter with exactly ZERO quality wins got a 15 million dollar offer to fight anyone? That's right NEVER.

But when you've already given them your world title belt for free, you need to be inventive with your excuses.

Seeing how bad Ward looked against Kovalev, it's easy to understand why he didn't want to fight Golovkin. Even bent judges can't save you when you're flat on the canvas counting stars. No way would Ward go 12 rounds with GGG.
