I don't need to have inside info. Guys who do like Kevin Iole says they did around 450, other experienced journalists said the number was closer to 300, maybe 325.

No way in hell did this do 600k, otherwise HBO would have announced it, which of course they didn't because neither Khan nor Canelo can draw that kind of buys.

This isn't a huge ppv though. The numbers prove that.

HBO said they weren't announcing PPV a couple of years ago. Iole and the journalist didn't know the numbers they get 2nd/3rd hand info/bull****. The revenue works out at around 600k ppv. The PPV sales were around 600k. Deal with it.

one can also say that there is never been a fighter with a history of less than 150k ppvs to reject a 15 million offer, really hope this isnt the case so that we can all watch the fight...

Kevin Iole has no sources he just makes it up got busted one time taking the ESPN numbers and Glasiers numbers and split the difference and pawned that number off as his own. very scientific lol. And HBO didn't release the numbers for GGG or anyone else in years and clowns said did 97k. Anyone with a twitter account can make up whatever they want. But according to the real numbers released because the Golden Boy Haymon lawsuit Golden Boy took home 27.7m. Before Golden Boy get's a check cable providers take half the money from PPV and the numbers Isaac Clarke provided match up to about 600k. So do you have anything else to bring to the table besides idiots making up numbers on twitter?

OK I'll spell it out, cretin:. Purses earned for a poorly selling sideshow don't determine the purses for the biggest fight in boxing.

We know that. If they did Canelo would have offered Golovkin $2million like he made for the Lemieux PPV instead of the $15 mil Golovkin turned down.

                600k is poorly selling BTW?

Didn't you say Golovkin should earn the same as Khan a while back? It's been confirmed Khan only got $6 mil are you changing your position now?

It's the biggest fight in boxing. Those are never flat fees. Heck Khan and Chavez get upside from Canelo, and Lemieux and Jacobs from GGG, and those aren't that big. It's extremely unusual

The $15 mil is a much better deal than Khan got. He's getting 150% more money, would the PPV do 150% more sales (1.5 mil total sales)?
