Was Morales past prime and weight drained in 2nd and 3rd Pacquiao fights?

Morales said he found it too hard making 130 and moved up to 135 where he lost to Raheem in a performance that showed he wasn't his former self. He wanted the Pacquiao matches at 135 but Pacquiao insisted he come down to 130, he looked like **** at the weigh-ins and lost the fights.

It's my opinion Morales was past his prime and weight drained for the Pacquiao fights and these aren't great wins. What do you say?

yeah the 1st pacquiao fight was the last time morales was at his best. Have doubts he really improved that much where he could go from losing to demolishing a prime morales. Dont want to take anything away from raheem but i dont think he was in the same league as morales, shouldnt be able to beat someone like that unless morales had slipped.

See what happened was he beat Pacquiao in the first fight and then overnight doubled in age and halved in technical ability.

            it happens.

He was already past his best when he beat Pacquaio.

He was well past it for the second fight and the third fight isn't even worth talking about because he was well past it by then and also completely dead at 130.

I do think that there was a decline in Morales by the second fight. He looked awful in the Raheem fight. I always had a feeling Morales let the first Pacquiao victory get to his head, because he conquered the guy who beat the crap out of Barrera, and who at that time almost sent Marquez to the grave.

But you still can't take credit away from Manny. The second and third fights were badass anyway you spin it, and he was clearly ascending.

I was a HUGE Morales fan (until the whole tainted meat sage) but I still am a fan just not as much after the fact. Anyways as you may know Morales always struggled with weight between fights and I remember clearly before the Raheem fight that it was reported he was in the 190's and it wasnt uncommon for him to walk around in the 170-180's between fights. So my take on it is after beating Pac, Morales was enjoying his fame, tacos, & beer in Mexico a lil toooo much and weight and age FINALLY caught up to him. Cutting weight is a young mans game, late 20's for some early 30s for most, you begin to realize the weight does not come off as easy and even if you are able to do it, you will definitely feel the effects. Pac won fair and square though and so did Raheem, cant take that away from them but IMO if Morales wouldve taken care of himself like an athlete should, I dont think the fights wouldve ended exactly the way they did.

NO!!! he was never drained ....thanks to the nasty cut caused by a headbutt he was able to take advantage in the first fight and win. as you saw without the cut he got his arse kicked badly.
