Canelo is by far the bigger name and paid his dues to get where he is. He was a bigger name than Cotto but took less money to get the fight made. That's what fighters do to further their careers and become the ones that call the shots, they make concessions. I don't think the $15 mil is low only people that don't understand that the cable providers take half of the PPV money do.

We Know Golovkin has an offer for a fight at 160 for $15 million. We form an opinion on that info. That's how it works, you can't take into account things that "could be" there.

oh no? Well you are assuming its a "clean" deal, despite no evidence to back up that assumption. I can pretty much guarantee you its NOT a clean deal, and probably far from it.

I am basing my opinion on years and years of experience reading, writing, and executing fight contracts, and having first-hand knowledge about the kinds of "deal breakers" those contracts can be loaded with.
