What you mean, he weighs 180 on fight night, he should be fighting DeGale, Jack or another 168 pounder.

Ward said anything about the killa kov rematch besides he plans on retirement?

I get that Canelo fought some difficult opponents early on in his career so you could somewhat say he's paid his dues but man is this guy running a boxing circus now or what???

No GGG at 160 unless he accepts the BS flat fee offer and now fighting JCC jr at 164.5??? This is such garbage man.

This can turn into a highly entertaining fight and I'll be one of those watching it, probably hoping Chavez can pull a miracle and make Canelo regret going only after the money.

With that said, this is also what makes boxing and almost pointless sport to watch if you value ladders, rankings, and champions, lol. This sport doesn't take any of that into considering. If it makes money, then it makes sense, and that's what decides the matchups. So many times, I just hate that aspect of boxing.
if chavez takes it seriously and isnt weight drained i honestly think canelo may get a real shock. Not sure chavez is good enough to win but canelo could look pretty bad. Canelo isnt a particularly talented fighter. I keep telling people this, they dont realise how much of an advantage he gets from being able to rehydrate so much. Hes not going to be able to dance round chavez like martinez did.

Yeah BS offer offering more then 3X GGG can make fighting anyone else. Chavez just agreed to less then HALF the money GGG is turning down. And at least this is a catchweight where both fighters from 2 different weight classes are conceding weight unlike the real circus the Brook fight where he forced a welterweight to leap 2 divisions to fight him without dropping a single pound.

And please put the "but ggg is the MW champion and p4p best fighter". That excuse don't mean chit. Look how well that worked out financially for ward and kovalev who undoubtedly are the best two p4p fighters. The belts or the p4p rankings didn't do chit for them financially. Ggg got offered what kovalev and ward made combined for their fight. Let that sink in ggg nuthuggers

Neither canelo or chavez weighs the same for their fights there is literally 2 weight classes that separate them. Canelo and Chavez are both willing to leave their comfort zone and give up weight to make the fight a reality. Canelo is the A side so Chavez willing to give up more pounds to make the fight happen now rather then wait. Something GGG could of done last year to get the fight instead stubbornly demanded canelo be the only one to move up. It backfired in his face. In 2015 his promoter said no problem with a catch weight between 155 and 160, in 2016 they killed the fight demanding it happen only at 160 when canelo can still make 154. Canelo will likely weigh at or under 160 for Chavez while Chavez has to kill himself to make 164.
You and clark need to put that pipe down, lol. The diva kills herself to make 155, rehydrating to 180 pounds on fight night. Your hate for GGG doesn't take away from the realities concerning the diva. You sound like CNN, just making schit up as you go

Firstly, you dont have a clue what GBP offered

                  Secondly, who ****ing cares anyway?

Thirdly, Canelo is fighting an unranked scrub in May but really, truly wants to fight GGG next LMAO

                  Let that sink in

Hmm when the rumor of Chavez vs ggg was taking place, wasn't the Chavez $ greater than $6M? Therefore ggg is the cAsh- side not Saul.
                    :-p

Thank you. but real boxing fans know GGG only wants to cash out. he just cares about money not a Big drama show, as he and his nut gobblers claim.
