So his body isn't ready for 160 when GGG is in the other corner but now he's fighting at 164...ok.

Stop crying. And you know damn well canelo ain't coming in at 164. This will be like the million times manny or floyd had catchweights with much bigger fighters but they came in well below the limit, the weight is for the bigger fighter.

Neither canelo or chavez weighs the same for their fights there is literally 2 weight classes that separate them. Canelo and Chavez are both willing to leave their comfort zone and give up weight to make the fight a reality. Canelo is the A side so Chavez willing to give up more pounds to make the fight happen now rather then wait. Something GGG could of done last year to get the fight instead stubbornly demanded canelo be the only one to move up. It backfired in his face. In 2015 his promoter said no problem with a catch weight between 155 and 160, in 2016 they killed the fight demanding it happen only at 160 when canelo can still make 154. Canelo will likely weigh at or under 160 for Chavez while Chavez has to kill himself to make 164.

****ing Canelo couldn't even let it happen at 165. Now it's 164.5 lmfao. I was actually praising this fight (relatively speaking) but it's BS like that which will prevent me from recommending it to friends now. Well played, GBP.

And Julio Cesar Chavez Jr., if you're reading this, DO NOT TAKE LESS THAN 25%. JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE PLAYING HARDBALL, DON'T FALL FOR IT. THEY WILL UP THEIR OFFER! IT'S NOT TOO LATE.

And thats why you and others supporting GGG are idiots. You call it a low ball offer when it's 3X he can make by fighting anyone else. He'd be a fool to pull a GGG and turn it down. Look at GGG who played hardball with Jacobs losing the original HBO date last year just so him and Jacobs combined can make less then Chavez just signed for. These guys have no leverage to demand more money. Canelo has too many options and would just move on to saunders, cotto, anyone within 2 weight classes of canelo will just get the payday instead. Funny how canelo doesn't seem to have a problem making deals with every other fighter/promoter. Yet GGG it's always an excuse for why his clown promoter can't close a deal. Ward, cotto, chavez, saunders, eubank, canelo, ect. But sure canelo is the problem in this equation LMAO

This is going to be the PPV event of the year! Chavez Jr. gives up another half-pound, but gets $6 million plus PPV upside. That's a good deal, SIGN IT! I don't think he makes that money with GGG, Zurdo, DeGale, or Jack!

I would guess with this essentially being a Cinco fight with 2 mexican superstars, that he'll train hard not to let the public down. If he shows up over weight again, or he's skipping training, no one will ever take him seriously again. He's got some talent, he just needs to focus.
Why the **** would he care, he's getting 6 mil plus a percentage! This is a huge wad for Chavez! And it definitely makes Triple look like a fool for not taking the 15.

Has to drain every little bit of weight he can, then again Chavez either doesn't care at this point and wants the cash or hes not gonna make the weight at fight night.

Then he won't get paid. The only times chavez has missed weight has been when he was the A side and the one bringing in the money. Chavez is not the A side fighter here so he can't afford to just blow off the weight and hope the lesser known fighter who can't get paid without him will agree to still fight even if he's heavy. Canelo is not Marcos Reyes lol. I'm sure golden boy will monitoring chavez weight during training camp and chavez own camp will drag him across the finish line if they have to so everyone of them gets paid. Chavez is trying to cash himself out that's why he took this fight and he'll kill himself if he has to for that last big check.
