Let's be serious here. Ward/Kovalev was a toss-up fight.

I think Maidana 1 and JLC 1 were far more controversial and close than the Ward/Kovy fight. Maybe not Maidana 1 so much, but JLC 1 was truly a gift decision. At absolute best Floyd can be given 6 rounds in that fight (a draw), and I had him getting 4-5.

Problem with this is that when Floyd was sticking up for him before the Kovalev fight Ward "lashed out" at Floyd. So now Floyd showed his support already and Ward reacted with a smug attitude "If you have advice to give me don't use the media", now he needs the support and Floyd isn't there. Can't be humble just sometimes, you shoulda just said thank you for the advice and left it at that, not act all high and mighty towards Floyd pre-Kovalev.
