Kovalev defeated ward in the ring but lost on paper (judges) so son of bias judges needs to clear up this fiasco and do the rematch....and the bait means the rematch....ward got shook up several times besides the knockdown so he is very tentative about the rematch (retirement talk)....Go CowBoys!!!!!!!

Those several times were before the KD, after that Ward was never bothered again by anything Kovalev threw.

Where Ward was wrong - Mayweather has the right to an opinion on the fight and if he thinks Ward lost so be it. Doesn't make him a critic, as one needs to make a choice either way. You either thought he won or he lost.

Where Ward was right - Mayweather unnecessarily throwing Viril Hunter under the bus was uncalled for criticism. Must be a Mayweather thing. Him, his father, and uncles have a habit of this. Will praise a fighter or trainer and the moment the fighter losses they immediately and completely throw either the fighter or trainer under the bus and act like they were NEVER any good. Did this after Broner lost to Maidana. Mayweather once said he appreciated Hunter's work and you're telling me a close fight changes that completely? So wishy washy. Believe it or not, you can be a great fighter with a great trainer and still take an L. Everyone can't win them all every time. Kovalev's a good fighter and JDJ is a good trainer. Losing to them doesn't take anything away from either Ward or Hunter because they got to where they're at doing a whole lot of good.
