You're right buddy . And to prove ur point . When Mora dropped Jacobs I noticed Danny's trunks riding a little high . Which would account for the loss of focus in that KD .

I'm hoping for a decent fight but can anybody say "hype job"??
No one is saying Jacobs is a lb for lb great. But for everyone to be calling him a hypejob yet at the same time say this is GGG toughest fight? Hmm who's the real hypejob?

Jacobs is a legit MW that can crack. All you judging him off of a kd or ko early in his career are idiots. Even a pillow puncher can knock you down with a counter if your off balance. Or any punch if youre out of position That's why Mayweather was so great. You never caught him off balance. He was superb at every detail of boxing. Never out of position legs or body or head. Didn't Jacobs get caught with a counter left hook after throwing a punch? Was he off balance?

Even if he didn't it doesn't matter. I don't think Jacobs chin is a problem. I did notice he seems to have small legs. If he loses by KO to GGG a bunch of ******s will come out saying see told you he had a weak chin. But the odds of getting KO'd when fighting against a KO artist is pretty respectable. It's not impressive to predict something that's high in probability. That's like having a 70% chance of rain and saying see I told you it would rain. To all this I just say put your money where your mouth is. Hell who knows the over under on that?

I believe their rankings were a lil higher before Jacobs KTTFO , but nonetheless it's a pretty dire resume, with the possible exception of Quillin. Folk justifiably criticise GGGs resume but it's a goddamn murderers row next to Dannys.

I'm not judging Jacobs on his chin, I'm looking at who he's fought. Danny just hasn't been in there with any top fighters except for Quillin. True he stopped Quillin in the first, but like you say a ko could mean a lot of things (like he caught Quillan cold or off balance.)
I'm hoping for a good fight but I'm not buying the media hype about how tough an opponent Jacobs is.

His chin just won't stand up to a good shot, it has nothing to do with somebody dying. Mora put him down haha what happened then? did his dog die?

Jacobs is going to fight scared in this fight i think, once that bell goes he's going to have flashbacks of Pirog, not that him and GGG fight the same but he'll be so wary of taking another shot like that and he will be too cautious to throw which will invite GGG's pressure and Jacobs will fold like a chair.

Based on that theory a different fighter would never win a rematch. That's simply not true. Distractions=loss of focus=greater possibility of being caught with significant punches.

Well, i agree somewhat but i mainly just think Pirog was a better fighter than Jacobs and i think GGG is better too. I don't think that shot had anything to do with Danny's state of mind, Pirog was just better and landed well. I just think Jacobs might end up being over cautious and fight scared a bit due to the past and GGG's reputation. He shouldn't though and i hope i'm wrong, because Jacobs has his own power and attributes, i just hope he believes in them when he starts feeling what GGG is bringing. If he does, then we're in for a pretty good fight i think.

Personally I don't think we really know who is better as Jacobs has gone on to prove he's world champion caliber and Pirog never really had a chance to. That said, I'm not discrediting the win, it's just that if you can imagine fighting a week after losing a loved one, do you think you would be 100% focused? I think for some people, it can be a motivation but for the others, it would be a serious emotional drain. I know when I lost my parents two days apart 3 years ago, there's no way I would have been up to doing my normal office duties at work, much less boxing at a world level.

Underrating Mora ? Come on man . Are u serious ? Do u remember the odds for that fight ? It was a fight Danny was supposed to win against a B ( maybe C ) level guy who got a little name recognition winning The Contender . Seems ur trying to justify GGG's opponents weak Chin by hyping up Danny's opposition n his struggles with them . And by the way I think GGG KO's Jacobs before the 4th to make a statement .
