His focus may have been on his grandmother but how did that affect his chin? The guy got dropped by Mora, he just doesn't have the best chin.

no it wasn't a flash knockdown he got cracked and fell, he tried to get up and was pushed back down. that was my only point. Im sure he would have lost the fight either way it went

I'm can't say for sure if his grandmother's death was the reason he lost the fight. However, if he was a member of some other tribe people on here would have bought that excuse hook, line, and sinker.

I agree that the ref stopped the fight a tad bit too early. Although, I can't really blame the ref because the way he fell, he looked a lot more hurt than the turned out to be.

Pirog should be considered one of the biggest what ifs the sport has ever had. He was a truly sublime talent who was skilled out of his shoes.

Jacobs is 12-0 since getting KO'd by the Russian. Here's the rankings (Box-Rec) of the guys he's fought, 5 unranked fighters and for the ranked fighters the numbers are 384, 304, 137, 48, 30 and 10.
I'm hoping for a decent fight but can anybody say "hype job"??

Yea they should have pulled out of the fight if he was an emotional wreck. But with that being said losing isn't always bad if you learn from it and it seems like he's grown from that experience.

Jacobs got dropped cleanly by that marshmallow fisted Sergio Mora. Do you have an answer for that? Jacobs has ZERO chance against Triple G. Conjuring up excuses prior to the fight is par for the course. Better store some up for your post fight speech.
