It sure does come across like a crush. Supposed Boxing fans have turned into financial experts and planners, marketing experts, predicting the positive outlook of PBC and the downfall of HBO and Top Rank and others.

Yet historically look at all the fights HBO and Top Rank has put together over the years. People have no shame. And the only potential star on PBC is Errol Spence.

I don't know who brainwashed all these posters and their Alts but they did a good job.

The actual "Brand" isn't going anywhere, but "Major" fights on the Networks isn't going to be taking place more so than them landing on Showtime. They had a budget for as long as they could run w/ it but the well ran dry hence the slew of fights announced ALL landing on Showtime with Danny vs Thurman likely landing on CBS (Showtime's parent company). We're still gonna get main guys fighting cans (ala Wilder's next fight on FOX) but most of the marquee fights for financial reasons will land on Showtime but will still have the "PBC" brand.

First of all, ****phobic insults just show what a low class and unintelligent person you are.

Second, fighters from EVERY stable always complain they can't get enough fights. Every top HBO fighter complain they can't get enough dates from the network. Arum is constantly complaining that he can't get enough dates.

So try to be consistent here . . .

Bob Arum addresses that last statement of yours...and re-enforces my own statement...coming from a "White" man himself...

haymon has already proven, on CBS, on FOX and on NBC, that a major fight will generate millions and millions of viewers.

compared to the 700k viewers an HBO fight would do.

You have no idea how much Haymon has spent.

Showtime now has LESS control over their broadcasts. Initially PBC and Showtime were completely separate. Now the Showtime broadcasts are branded as PBC. Which shows they trust that Haymon won't burn them when he finally signs longterm TV deals.

Haymon is Harvard educated and was one of the most successful concert promoters in the world. A millionaire many times over before ever entering the boxing business.

Is it possible that if you don't understand his longterm planning, it's because you're a mental midget compared to him?

has lost close to 500 million from what ive read, luckily hes made his fortunes from other avenues so he can afford the loss. Yep, smart men can make mistakes though. Haymon believed he could continually spoon feed the public garbage because he had the US monopoly on boxing, he didnt consider the UFC as a serious alternative. Haymons had a very arrogant approach to his PBC show, seems to think the shows sell themselves, doesnt properly promote them either, he hasnt built any stars and the main one hes got coming through (errol spence) wants out, hes had enough of it, and hes not the only one.
