Comments Thread For: Kell Brook vs. Errol Spence is Targeted For May in The UK

Errol Spence is boxings biggest hype job since Deontay Wilder.
Spence last fight was over a 41 year old chump Bundu who was a 100-1 underdog, much like Wilder who is fighting a guy he is a 62-1 favorite over.
This is the game TMT & Haymon are playing with the lower educated fans today. Fighting bums and getting Floyd to sell spence from sparring sessions is all it takes, while real fighters like GGG, Loma, Kovalev & Loma are fighting top competition and making them quit or knocking them out.
The great black hope routine with PBC is wearing thin on real fans of the sport.

And rightfully so.
He can't tell anybody what to do.
If he chickens out and fights Khan it'll be a Gavin rematch afterwards.

It's pretty clear by Eddie's words that they intended to allow themselves to get stripped or vacate even though they know that the Khan fight will still be there after Spence, unfortunately for them, Khan won't allow it hahahaha my man!

From Eddie Hearn's most recent comments, Brook is refusing to vacate and has no problem fighting Spence but Hearn see's it as bad business move because Brook kills himself to make 147 and the financial rewards for fighting a dangerous fight like Spence isn't worth it.
I understand where Hearn is coming from in his position as a promoter but if Brook feels he can make the weight ok and beat Spence, then let him defend his belt as he wishes.
