Chavez will make more for this fight than he would fighting anyone else. And he hasn't fought anyone of note in how long? These suits put these ideas in these guys' heads and they think they have to fight for a chest full of gold. They're both getting paid A LOT for this fight, with the bigger draw getting the more. Just sign, unless you're afraid of a guy that weighs 15 pounds less.

Stop it. Golovkin said that shiiit in 2012. Ward waited until Ggg v Lemiuex was being negotiated and ggg became the mandatory for Cotto/Canelo winner to even speak a word. That was August of 2015.

Canelo has the upper hand in these negotiations. He can draw 50,000 people to watch him fight and more on PPV. Chavez Jr. can't get 5,000 to show up, nor can he get on national television. Jr. has a high opinion of himself, but he has been offered serious money and should accept. I don't think this fight should be made. Alvarez should fight a live middleweight like in May in preparation for a September bought with GGG and not this clown.
