Had he and his pops not back out of the GGG negotiations, I doubt anyone would care. They weren't man enough to sign on the line for lil g, but man enough to move up in weight with no tuneup to fight this dude? Not a good look.

Geale is not a good fighter and beating him doesn't mean much. The guy Eubank is fighting has only had 11 fights and he lost one of those fights to an unranked nobody. It's just another cherry pick by big talk but no action Eubank. I will only watch it for free. You can pay to watch it f you want to. It is not an important fight. It's just a fight to build up Eubank with an almost certain KO win. Then Eubank can continue to talk tough and do nothing to prove it.

I agree with what u said about Eubank (the whole 2nd part of your post), but not Geale. He was alright - beat sturm and sylvester in Germany (ko usually results in a draw there), but Golovkin is an animal and Cotto is prob hof, fought at elite level.

There is a big gap between the top 10 level fighters and the small group of elite fighters.

To follow on what you were talking about... the Australian pro circuit is pretty pathetic compared to the states or UK. I know a few pros down under and they are piss head, reco drug users etc - not all are like this of course.
Quinlan has only fought down under and lost to that 'unranked nobody' who's last and only fight in the states was also a loss (admittedly had to boxrec it - solely for location).

If Eubank has been fighting at B- level then Quinlan (apart from shot Geale) has been figgting D- or E+ level, even losing to one.
You summed it up pretty good (and more briefly) anyway!

This is the biggest fight since Pac-May and Ali-Frazier
Like Mayweather and Naseem Hamed the Eubanks will bring boxing back to the mainstream

Ain't a bad fight for a first fight at the weight. Do I view it as a title fight yeh sure, the DeGale vs Jack winner for me is the champ and only facing them makes it become a world champ who cares how many title holders their are the real fans know who the real champion is.

I think they're just pursuing a potential belt for bargaining power down tbe line, doesn't appear they're getting a major belt at 160 and if they fought GGG it'd have been the 75/25 split had he have retained the WBA interim.

GGG appears to cherish the IBO and Wlad held it all those years, I suppose when GGG moves up they'll demand equal parity, like you tried push 75/25 on us before now we deserve 50/50 !

I'll likely watch this fight to see how Eubanks does, I thought whilst he was at 160 he was one of only a select few to have the power to make GGG respect him, though he's far too easy to hit to beat him.
