This will be aging Manny against a Crawford that is much improved since Gamboa. He is taller, longer reach and can box and move as he showed against Postol. Yes, he leaves himself open but this Manny doesn't have the power or speed of a peak Manny that could more easily capitalize on Craford's mistakes.

I think this is much riskier fight for Manny than many think.
Manny leaves himself open all the time.

I think Crawford has the skills to beat him from the crop of fighters out there. Wouldn't say that he will beat him

It's a good fight, I think it's 50-50 despite Manny's age and him being past-prime. Old Pacman still has some gas left in the tank.

Not sure he can but he has a good chance. That's the reason we want them to fight.

2009 version of cotto,Hatton and pacquiao destroy crawford. 2017 version of cotto and pacquiao are 50/50 fights

Pacquiao at his age now is still better than Postol and Gamboa. It's a good match up but I'd put money on Bud. Would be a good passing the torch fight and am actual pay per view draw.

It's a good fight. Crawford is elite and has just about always looked impressive. He boxes and uses distance very well and understands the jab. He also counter punches and makes adjustments to take away opponents strengths. It's not the "come forward", offensive fighter that Manny k i l l e d in the past. Also, Manny is getting older.

Just funny to hear people say Crawford D is good but not elite. Bud got hit what, 40 time in 8 rounds against Molina? How many time was the reachy Postol able to touch Crawford every round? 5 time or so? When is the last time Pacquiao got a finish? Just answer theses questions and the winner is obvious. Not only is Crawford defense statistically in the very top tier of boxing (only ward as better numbers), but he is also i believe the most accurate guy out there with his striking. If they ever fight, i would be disapointed if Crawford does not finish Manny honestly
