Anyway, I'm not sure Garcia gets past Thurman...

For the record, both Garcia and Thurman knock Khan out. Khan hasn't ever beaten a good quality power boxer, and both of them are power boxers. So is Brook, so he gets KO'd there too. Khan is best sticking to light-punching straight up boxers like Algieri and Alexander. If you have good timing, good boxing skills and can ****, you will almost certainly beat Amir Khan.
Well... he beat Maidana. But i guess you don't consider him a power puncher. For the rest, i stand by what i said: Garcia could not deal with Khan's speed. Period. He got careless and got tagged... Garcia also struggled against Herrera and Peterson... and Zab. Matthysse was coming on before he got Thumbed and couldn't see.
And please a little more polite and nuanced in your replies! Your mother is already ashamed of having a child like you! If only your dad hadn't left...

He always gets careless and gets tagged that's Amir Khan and that's why people understand he's a mediocre fighter with a poor chin. Since his best win over a still raw Maidana (apart from the smash and grab that everyone knew he would lose against Canelo....sorry he got careless ...again!)he has been kept away from not just a hitter threat but any threat.........without being too silly tell me why Khan has the WBC no.1 top contender spot.......just facts will do.

Floyd would have timed Khan after 3 rounds.

What's Khan gonna do if Thurman beats Garcia, and Spence beats Brook? He won't beat either of them.

Again... not saying i'm a fan ... frankly he annoys me. But... let's give credit where credit is due. The guy does have talent... just lacks ring IQ. We all new he was going to loose against Canelo. The same way we knew Brook would lose vs GGG. Yet one is treated like a hero, the other like child ******er. I mean ...let's be fair. Most of his peers give him credit and recognize his assets. Yet boxing fans on this here forum treat him like dog s***! What's wrong? ..

This makes little sense you say he lacks ring IQ I agree and without doubt he has a weak chin who quickly runs out of ideas . As a knowledgeable boxing fan you say I should give this credit!
I asked you to answer a question , one it seems you can't , which goes a way towards my irritation of Khan ........Answer...?
.....no.1 WBC contender ....again just the facts will do.

Maidana hit hard but wasn't a power boxer, which is a boxer with power. He was just a straight-up come-forward slugger. Therefore Khan could use his boxing skills, speed and survival instincts to eke out a very close, contentious decision. The fact that you didn't see Garcia timing him and plotting Khan's downfall (preferring to view it as 'a lucky punch') shows that you don't know jack about boxing.

I don't disagree that Garcia struggled against those guys (Khan also struggled against Peterson, so does pretty much everyone because Lamont is a helluva fighter; only guy who defused him was a peak Bradley), what is your point, caller? The fact is, Garcia figured out Khan by the 3rd round and laid him out in the next. It's not rocket science. There's no need to butthurt, 4.5 years later, that Garcia dealt with Khan very, very easily.
