I don't think anyone is expecting more from Pacquiao than they are from Crawford. This is simply one of the best fights that can be made in boxing, and the fans want to see it. Crawford has displayed his willingness to fight any game opponent and that's the attitude that all boxers need to take for the sake of the sport.

I always think that it's crazy how much more is expected from a fading legend in the last stages of his career than from a young top p4p fighter seven pounds away from the stacked and most popular weight division today.
The only reason Pac is still fighting is because of his fans, which pay to see HIM fight, and which he earned over a career of fighting some of boxing history's best.
As for Manny only fighting for the fans. That's 100% horse****. Manny is fighting because he needs money and has no other sources of real income. If he was doing it for the fans, Crawford would be a priority. And he wouldn't even entertain this Horn nonsense.Comment

Bob Arum is really disrespecting Crawford, this is the 3rd consecutive time they have ducked him. Arum is mismanaging one of the best fighters in the world, and if Crawford has any gumption, he will jump ship when his contract is up, 147 is ruled by the other side anyway.
Manny, his team, and Arum are spooked by Crawford, it's as clear as day to any objective mindComment

Roach lying to deflect the criticism away from Pacquiao, this was the usual tactic used when they were ducking Mayweather. The ****** Pacquiao fans keep falling for it.
Asking for $20 mil when the PPV sales won't even cover that is what killed the fight.Comment

How is Manny fading? He just outclassed Vargas. He outclassed Bradley before that. The only hiccup Manny has had is losing to Floyd. Who happens to be the best fighter of Manny's era. That doesn't mean Manny is fading. It just means he's not as good as Floyd. Newsflash.......he never was.

As long as he's still fighting it's cool by me whoever the opponent is. It's understandable why he ducked Khan and Crawford, they are way too risky for him now. Manny's paid his dues, his fights are now going to start verging on exhibition bouts.Comment
