Par for the course for Arum... I speculated years ago that this is a microcosm of how they deal with Pacquiao.

Arum arranges the financial terms to be better for the opponent he wants and Pacquiao, of course, chooses the opponent where he can make the most money according to Arum.

He'll tell Manny that Crawford is asking for $7M and $20M in the guarantee to split between them and Jeff Horn is asking for $700K and $15M in the guarantee to split. He's going to "choose" Horn every single time...

He's been raping Manny so long it's like clockwork at this point. Manny continuously goes against his own self interest like starting then stopping an audit of his finances and "choosing" Vargas instead of Broner (likely lost a few hundred thousand PPV buys for that one). The only difference today is that they can't blame Mayweather for his opposition now (though they're still trying to keep that alive by mentioning a retired Mayweather, problem is... nobody cares anymore).

So Roach says he thinks Pac's ideal weight is 140, and Crawford says It'll be at 140, and that's all of a sudden a demand? Read the article.

""To me I would love it if would return, and do it against Floyd Mayweather, but that still seems remote. And if he can't do that, then we can do it at 140 pounds, that's where I'd like to see him," Roach said. "I think 140 pounds is where we would see the best Pacquiao. At 147 pounds he's not bad but I think his ideal weight is 140, where the speed and power will be combined better.

Crawford is a competitive fighter, he could be difficult, and Jessie Vargas is coming off a big fight." Crawford has no problem with facing Pacquiao but cautions that - "It will be at 140."

"If Bob Arum wants that fight and my coaches want that fight, that's something we'll talk about later. I let my coaches handle that. I am a fighter and I will fight anybody. I'm happy and I'm about to go on vacation. We not worried about Manny Pacquiao right now." - See more at: http://www.boxingscene.com/terence-c....ZkBTEhox.dpuf

Obviously Manny did better than Khan against Algieri. Far better. But styles make fights. Manny also beat Bradley, whereas Marquez lost to him. But wait, oh Marquez lost to Bradley but he knocked Manny out cold for 5 minutes..

              Styles make fights.

That doesn't mean Manny is fading. It just means he's not as good as Floyd. Newsflash.......he never was.

As for Manny only fighting for the fans. That's 100% horse****. Manny is fighting because he needs money and has no other sources of real income. If he was doing it for the fans, Crawford would be a priority. And he wouldn't even entertain this Horn nonsense.
*****, YDKSAB! A 38 year old Manny Pacman isn't fading? How long have you been watching him fight, did you just start? Because I'm going to tell you he's been visibly on the decline since getting knocked out by Marquez. We know Manny was never as good as Floyd; seriously, why do you even feel the need to say that?

As far as him fighting for money, no **** dumbass! He doesn't need Crawford at all. Pacman can keep fighting bums and still make money because as much as his ppv sales have gone down, his fans are still buying his fights.

'' “[Arum] wants the Crawford fight,” Roach said Wednesday before a question-and-answer session with Miguel Cotto and James Kirkland in Manhattan. “I know that. I think Crawford supposedly asked for $7 million, and they said no." ''

pac tards ignore the highlighted stuff.

Emotional ain't cha homie. Fighters are only in their physical primes for maybe a year or two during their careers. So most guys that spend any extended amount of time on top do so while in "decline." Its not about being at your physical peak. Its about the level of competition a guy is winning at. Manny is still capable of dominating very good fighters like Tim Bradley. Manny is arguably still the top welterweight in the sport. Manny is still easily a top 10 P4P fighter. So whether he's still the guy that KO'd Barerra in their first fight or not is irrelevant. He's still one of the best in the game. So if he wants to keep fighting, he needs to fight a level of competition better than the Horn types.......BIATCH!!!!!
