    De la Hoya, assuming he didnt dive against Hopkins

    because that body shot looked weak and puny as hell

      People say the darnest things.Have you been hit in the body before??..i was sparring ,very light,and my sparring partner literally just raised his knee a la dalshim from street fighter and my rib was bruised for 2 weeks..Everybody knows a well placed punch to the liver will make you go down.

        I broke into a cold sweat from a body shot sparring
        Had to sit out for like 8mins
        I will take head shots no prob but forget body shots

          Thurman isn't famous but he is well known. He seems weak when it comes to taking hard body punches.

            this is a hard one to figure out since the biggest factor involved is how the fighter get's caught. If he's prepared for it he braces, if not he goes down or at least get's hurt.

            Ali had a tremendous body but Frazier nearly put him down with a body shot in the first fight, Foreman hit him from left field in the ribs with shots that would have bent a car in half, yet he withstood them.
