Yeah right Loeffler. Your fighter wants to fight 4 times a year. You're supposed to be spreading your offers all over the place, including Lara, Jermall, etc. Those two wants your boy. If you can't do it, hand him over to Dibella or someone who can do the job.

EXACTLY! Agree with everything you said!Ggg isnt going to get a fair deal to fight canelo, and i want to se the fight fair or unfair... ggg keeps waiting for fair and he is going to get old.. canelo didnt get a fair deal with floyd, heck he didnt even make 15 mill on a fight that did 2.2 mill ppvs... if you want a fair deal good luck waiting, if you want to see the fight in 2017 then go ask ggg to take the deal before he gets old...Comment

People are calling each other names so much, I feel like my post won't have any credibility if I don't call ShoulderRoll something nasty, LOL.Pacquiao is still a bigger name and bigger star than Lil G, dumb****.
Why does Lil G think he suddenly deserves to get paid almost the same as Pac? When he has never made anywhere near that amount of money in his entire career and won't even get close to it without Canelo?
So, you "insert your favorite swearword here"
The reason why GGG won't accept a flat fee is biology.
We have an instinct for fairness imprinted in our genes.
Those who did not have it did not survive.
When a monkey is fed cucumber, and sees that a monkey in a cage next to it is fed g****s, the monkey starts having fits and rocking the cage bars.
There's a game in game theory called "Ultimatum Game".
Details in the link, but basically you give a sum of money to a guy. And you tell the guy to share that money with a stranger. The guy can divide the money whichever way he likes. But if the stranger chooses not to accept the split, both make nothing.
Guess what? Anything less than 30% is usually rejected. I've read that 40% is usually considered a 'fair' offer.
Now imagine that the stranger is told to accept a flat amount, without being told how much the other guy is making. I imagine most would reject - no-one wants to be the idiot who helped the other guy make 10 times more.
Flat fee offer adds insult to the injury. Not only is Canelo worth more, he's paying Golovkin's wages. Golovkin's not a partner, but a paid employee in this fight.
Hope I answered your question. Come to think of it, I probably shouldn't have called you "insert your favorite swearword here". Just like you shouldn't have insulted others...Comment

>You make some very good points and a lot of sense, but imo >you are wasting your time on 'hurtfeelings'Hello Mr Observer.
You make some very good points and a lot of sense, but imo you are wasting your time on 'hurtfeelings'
He has it in his head that Golovkin has ducked CONela..wtf??!!? I can't quite comprehend how someone can flip that ****... he is obviously an idiot or just hates GG... or most likely both! I do not believe you will sway his narrow minded views.
From what i remember CONela gave up wbc (most prestigious, mexican organisation) middleweight world title without a fight. He ran to a division lower to fight the weakest champ and then intends to have his next fight closer to super middle weight (165 pounds vs chavez).
He has essentially avoided all the tough opponents at 154 and 160.
Can i ask you Mr Observer, how long do you think it is possible for CONela to run for?
Where exactly do you think his career going?
How come he's now 26 and instead of fighting the best, he is acting like a 20 year vet just finishing his career off (ie pac, cotto)?
Sorry to pick on u, but i am curious.
I've been on boxing forums for a while... Let's call this 'public service', LOL.
>Can i ask you Mr Observer, how long do you think it is possible >for CONela to run for?
I actually have a lot of faith in Canelo.
Remember, this is the guy who fought Trout and Lara.
Those were unpopular risky fights.
I think Canelo has huge pride and he will fight GGG in September. If he doesn't then he can only rely on diehard Mexican fans to have his back. Everyone else will label him a duck. I think all the talks about flat fees is smoke screens and in the end GBP and K2 will make a deal. There's nothing stopping the fight from happening apart from the two sides making a deal, and they will make a deal.
So chill, keyboard warriors, let's give it till September. Canelo has good following, but even Mexican fans are not prepared to forgive everything. Just ask JCC Jr.Comment

Just saw an interesting interview with Nigel Benn. He's a true gentleman. In the interview Benn gives his take on a Eubanks Jr vs Golovkin fight. Worth a watch:

My boxing culture isn't built by Floyd Mayweather's logic, who is a prick in my book and an annoying human being.I'll give some advice for the real world in any business. Don't sell yourself short with all your accomplishments. This is common culture and the basis for meritocracy. K2 and girls never agreed to GBPs splits. This is why they never went to purse bid. This is why they vacated the belt.
In other words, if both parties have not agreed to splits, it goes to purse bid...
So Alvarez is the "first" Mexican and elite boxer that vacated the WBC because he wasn't selling himself short with split agreements considering his resume compared to Golvokins.
Common sense unless you assume boxing culture doesn't have A or B sides with considerable earning differences.
I don't give a sht about the A,B,H,Z side.
I'm a man of rules, and the rules told us there was a purse bid if no agreement, nothing new in boxing.

[QUOTE=BigStomps;17337345]Better than me, who do you think you are fackin donkey??Have you heard little g deny that there's a 15 million dollar contract in front of him to sign?? Exactly, you haven't! Little g nuttriders like you are so busy walking around with his balls in your mouth that you fail to realize that boxing is a business. In order to be the A side and get the bigger percentage you gotta beat an A side! Canelo did that with Cotto, who has little g beaten? Nothing but a bunch of bums, not much better than you.
So little g needs to lift up his nuttsack, sign the contract and fight Canelo in September. If he wins that fight then he can be the A side in a rematch. But I'm confident Canelo will tap his ass in September.
You just a ******, probably using an alt, trolling on a website and hating on a fighter.
What you are saying doesn't have any kind of sense, you're probably an idiot who never graduated but is talking business.
You obviously don't have any kind of business knowledge.
Becoming the A side....that sht doesn't mean anything relevant.
Canelo need more GGG than the opposite, he's being called a ducker and a puss in all mexico until he fights him.
They smart to refuse and negotiate with the "A side".
Canelo is probably crying in Oscar panties.
GGG should not give a fck about that short 154 pounders.
Then you think he will beat GGG, you just proved you don't know sht about boxing.
Ginger should rematch Lara and Trout and beat them clean before wanting to fight the King.Comment

dude.....
when Team Bullshht, ooops..... I mean, Team Golovkin..... offered Saunders 1.5 mil..... and Saunders watched Kell Brook make 4mil+PPV..... did he feel like they were treating him like a monkey?
all fun n games til someone loses an eye huh ?
15mil is an outstanding offer
FACT: Saunders will never fight Golovkin for 1.5mil..... so Team Bullshht should have spent the day at the beach instead of running around making silly offers like that..... but Golovkin could easily take that 15milComment
