On rescoring it I had it 114-113 for Kovy, but I can easily see it being scored 114-113 for Ward. Kovalev was just entirely ineffective in the 2nd half of the fight - like wtf happened? Lots of fans cry about robbery and blame Ward for winning 6 of the last 7 rounds...why is that Ward's fault? Ward did what he was supposed to do and fought a 12 round fight including getting off the canvas.

Kovalev is the guy who scored the big KD and then proceeded to fade as the fight went on. The trump racists are showing their bigotry when they just blame Ward for doing everything he can to win the fight and make Kovy look bad in the process

Sorry Dre! I'm a fan, but I had it 7-5 Kovalev, and with the KD, that comes to 116-112. So yeah, you lost by "3, 4, 5 points!" What you (and Chilemba) did do, was make "The Krusher" look like a B-level fighter. However, in the process you made yourself look like a B-level fighter! Not a good look! So even if you decide to rematch, you definitely loss one PPV customer over here! Good Luck Champ!

If you scored the fight 7-5 that is 115-113 and with the KD it would be 115-112.

And I don't understand the bandwagoning of all these so called "fans". I have Kovy winning but in no way do I give Ward **** for thinking he won. I mean Ward did win the entire 2nd half of the fight.

u think that has anything to do with the fact hes aging and went up in weight to fight the best guy in the division? was he supposed to blow him out? Kov is a very good fighter I don't understand the Logic around here... I knew we saw the best of ward once I saw the berrera fight but it happens its life hes still a great fighter. u wouldn't buy the rematch because the fight was close? its 2 of the best in the world what did u guys want? every fight isn't gonna be pretty he found a way to win

I do believe that the move up in weight has slowed Ward down, but his head movement was weak, and his accuracy was poor. All in all, the fight was not that good. I guess I was expecting LSC vs. Frampton, Thurman vs. Porter, Salido vs. Vargas, Easter vs. Comney, but this was more like Garcia vs. Guererro. Not as bad, but not good enough to pay to see it twice!

People expected Ward to just lay down after the KD and let Kovalev win. People cant just accept that Ward did more than Kovalev did and Kovalev did nothing after the KD. I guess he thought Ward was scared of him, Kovalev couldnt even breathe anymore

Thanks for the correction! 115-112! That means he still lost by "3, 4, or 5 points." I'm a Ward fan, but he didn't win the ENTIRE second-half of that fight. Kov won at least one round between Round 7 and Round 12! I'm not mad at Ward for thinking he won, and I'm not mad at Ward wanting more money for a rematch. However, as much as I like the cat, he's not fun to watch anymore (if ever), so if it's the Pacquiao and Cotto money he's after, he's probably never gonna see that! So maybe it's time to hang 'em up!

Why do you guys keep calling Ward a coward, who has he ducked or avoided?

The Ward haters are crying about the uncertainty of a rematch failing to realize the first fight only took place a little over a month ago. If Ward is offered similar money for the rematch and declines then he deserves the scrutiny.

It's almost like certain fans don't want the rematch to take place......

they are just ****** fans boys that know nothing about the sport. It was a close fight, I had it the way the judges had it. Kov took his foot off the gas that's his fault, Ward pressed and got in his chest, started handing out very nice body work, but none of the fans boys seen that. Hey fan boys body shots take power off your opponents punches and zaps stamina. Ward knew what he was doing. Close fight could have went either way. I would not have been mad if KOV got the call. No cowards, no bad judges. just 2 of the top fighters in a close fight. Rematch would be cool im all for it but KOV being a sore loser is almost as funny as BHOP's crying lying self lol

I don't like a certain demographic because they take all our white woman so i was rooting for kovalev but even i know ward won.
