To be honest, I don't think many of them do. They would much rather be right about the fight not happening than getting to see a high-level fight. That's the pettiness of boxing fans nowadays. Also, Ward is super crafty and most expect him to do better in the rematch, so if you're a devout Kov fan, there is reason for concern. Another loss to Ward would damage their credibility. Just my opinion. I'm looking forward to the fight. Most hugh-level fight in boxing that can be made right now.

Oh really?? lol
Any knowledgeable boxing fan, huh? ROFL...
Well I agree, the funny part are those who have Ward winning 8 rounds to 2. Like on page 2 for instance. But surely they're just having fun, looking to find some trolls to slap around...
I watched it again just to see if my opinion would change. This time left the sound off. And it was close, but I thought Kov still won. Everyone is right, the rematch has to happen. But what will Ward do? Want even more money based on a PPV he won controversially and generated only 160K buys?Comment

Yeah that's what I was saying yesterday. I think some of these fight fans get too emotionally involved with the sport. They hate the result that much that they sit behind their computer screens and throw juvenile insults, even though they can only dream about being at the level of Ward and Kov.Comment

I agree with Ward that Kov didn't win by that much. I do not agree with Ward that he won as I scored the fight 114-113 for Kov.Comment

and no way did you win more than 5 rounds. in fact, giving you 5 rounds is more than generous....
lol this guy can't handle criticism. the problem with the scorecards is that all 3 judges had the same exact close scoring, very.... very su****iousComment

I didn't think the fight was close at all. I think Ward won a maximum of 4 rounds. Kovalev won 5 of the first 6 rounds easily with a knockdown making it virtually impossible for Ward to win without doing something spectacular, which he never did. Ward talks about how he kicked it into another gear and Kovalev couldn't keep up. That **** just doesn't make sense. Kovalev still threw way more punches than Ward in the second half of the fight. Ward kicked his running into another gear, that's all he did. He never statistically dominated Kovalev in any round of that fight. Even the rounds Ward won were close rounds. Ward can keep his belts, Kovalev won his soul. Kovalev Shang Tsung'ed Ward. In case you haven't read Wards latest interview in Rolling Stone, Ward is considering retirement, claiming he's done everything he's wanted to do in his career. Fuuuuckkk him. KOVALEV RETIRED WARD.Comment

IBF, WBO, WBA light heavyweight champion Andre Ward (31-0, 15 KOs) is shocked with some of the critics who believe Sergey Kovalev (30-1, 26 KOs) beat him by as much as five points on the scorecards.
