What they need to emulate in preparing for Golovkin is less the ex-Soviet 1-2 style, and more the relentless pressure. That's what gets guys against Golovkin. He presses and presses until they start to make mistakes or freeze up. Definitely worth having 'Soviet school' sparring partners but not sure about the three guys being chosen for that reason.Comment
