I still remember when that guy on ESPN asked him why his come back fight was a lightweight JMM and Mays reply was cos he called me out. ESPN guy then said Marg and Cotto were calling him out too and May started stuttering lol

That sums up his career and his intellect.
thats a damn lie.. only 2 fights he was getting grilled about was Pacquiao and Mosley

Floyd could have done more - he could have taken more riskier fights, Prime Pac, Williams, Margarito, hell even Khan lol.

He could have also taken more risks with his style and used more offensive skill, without ever really risking defeat.

At then end of the day he CHOOSE to minimize risks to his record (and health) and maximize his earnings.

It was Floyd / Haymon's decision, and a good one from a business perspective.

As for a pure boxing perspective, Floyd COULD have taken risks but he didn't NEED to.

I don't consider that a prime Canelo, tbh.

He will become overrated IMO due to the fact how impressive his resume is on paper.

His resume is impressive regardless but on paper it's ridiculous.

In 20 years time the new fans will look back and see that Mayweather was 5 weight champion, 4 of which Lineal, beat 10 fighters ranked #1 in the divison being fought in and beat 7 fighters ranked in the Top 10 P4P, 20 odd world champions beaten.

Like I said, on paper it's a recipe to get overrated.

But obviously Floyd is one of the ATG's anyway.

Move up to 168 for a big money fight and come down weight again.
GGG turned pro at 24 right?? and has moved up 0 pounds...Floyd at 24 was still at 130..so kill that excuse
