He was extra cautious and boring vs Pac. He knew that was half the victory. The quieter and boring the fight, the better it is for him. No action what so ever. Just the slightest could lean the judges to go the other way. Floyd methodically fought the boringest fight of his life on purpose. Just look at the first Maidana fight compared to the second one. Two different fights. You can say Maidana went harder the first time but u can also say Floyd allowed it to be like that. That's one thing about him. He dictates the fight. Like 90% of the fight is what he allows and doesn't allow. That is the biggest thing I appreciate about him but also hate as a fan cuz the fights be boring.

whenever Hatton got into a favourable position Cortez broke them up, he takes a point off Hatton for hitting Mayweather behind the head and right after that Mayweather retaliates with a series of rabbit punches with no consequence, Mayweathher's elbows are apparently legal, Cortez looked terrified when he felt he has to tell Mayweather off to make it seem like he was atleast just a bufoon and not totally corrupt. He never fought a prime first ballot HOF, so yea, carefully managed, Castillo, Coralles are good victories for prospects. Those would have been real battles, like the sht we got with the fab 4. Look at the state of boxing now, that'll answer that. Plus whether juicing or unecessary IV's ("for rehydration purposes only"), look at Hopkins, a player in his division at around 50.

Dont think he really could have done anything more, some people were just so desperate for him to get beat they will say anything to trash him.
