im in agreement larry. Mayweather didnt fight killer after killer every fight but who else does? Pretty much every fighter he fought was of world level, most fighters at the moment do well to fight someone with a pulse every two years, and 99 percent of fighters follow the pattern of fighting a good fight then a bum or two after. Rare that he fought someone completely useless. I want to know who these supposed killers mayweather was dodging were? Pacquiao still had plenty in the tank when they fought, he lost to marquez but arguably he lost to marquez earlier in his career too. The job he did on bradley shows he wasnt a shot fighter, and mayweather was no spring chicken when they fought. How mayweather can be called a cherry picker with the guys he fought i dont know. Every fighter going must be a cherry picker then...

if you cherry pick long enough you can build up a nice little resume and thats what he did. no one is saying hes a bum but to act like he was trying to take on all challegers is laughable. he constantly came up with excuses not to fight people(unless they were guys like baldomir) didn't see the excuses flying then.

True, Floyd just is nt known to be risk taker. He's famous for his cautiousness in fact.

Moved from 130 to 154 winning titles along the way.

I think his carefully managed career really gave a false impression. A guy that arguably lost to Castillo and Maidana can't be as good as what some would have you believe Mayweather is. He did well to avoid prime, hungry atg's.

Wins like Mosley, Marquez mean next to nothing under the circumstances Mayweather won them. Hell, look at the Hatton fight, as a fight to compare to look at the Kovalev Ward fight and tell me that wouldn't have been a different fight if the ref constantly broke them up after Ward worked to get inside, he'd have never scored most of his points and Kovalev would have been fresher, aswell as on the outside to get tagged more. These are the circumstances Mayweather wins under, and no the Maidana rematch wasn't convincing, the the scores were pretty much the same except this time the difference was the uncalled for point deduction. That fight would also have been very different without Mayweather's tampering with the refereeing. The guy is as much a fraud as they come and I really don't like using that word.

He has admitted to paying Alex Ariza to not work with Garcia's fighters for the rematch with Maidana. Effectively sabotaging a camp. Is this considered cool? When I'm watching boxing I want to see who can win at their best, I don't want a guy showing up outta shape because a fighter took his S&C from him. Like I said, fraud.
