DeGale should enroll in VADA year round testing then. I don't think we can trust national testing agencies anymore.

They make Floyd look like a genius! He called everybody out about PEDS back in 09. Pac was PETRIFIED scared to take test until 4 years later!!! Even playing field is all Floyd asked for!! Wow!!

Unfortunately it will never stop. The drugs are always ahead of the testing, as are the methods to mask them. But that doesn't mean boxing shouldn't try. Better testing at least keeps the levels fighters dope at to lower levels, and will bust some. It also means a level of risk that will stop some from using.

In any sport it is about controlling PED use, not stopping it, because stopping it is really impossible.

One of these days someone will get put in a coma or killed by someone who then fails a drug test and maybe the shockwave will cause changes to be made. It's good we have more VADA testing now but when Bute is able to come back so quickly and roided Povetkin fights on and knocks someone cold as the crowd celebrate it's clear the commissions, promoters running the sport do not do enough about failed tests and need to be forced into it.

PED use is not only going unpunished (unless youre a white fighter) but apparantly you are now rewarded for it with Lt Heavyweight Title Belts even if you get dropped AND lose 7 rounds.
