Ur telling me that most ppl who really watch boxing would rather watch those fights than watch Canelo vs ggg?? Haaaa!!! Sounds like a scared good boy. Face it bruh, u don't want Canelo getting knocked the **** out by ggg. And it was 150k not 97.. Look it up this is facts. But whatever helps u sleep at night lmao and this is another truth bro, ggg is the one who doesn't need Canelo anymore. Everybody saw ggg call out Canelo and Canelo vacate the belt. Ppl saw this and ppl will remember this. If Canelo doesn't fight ggg by September and offer a fair deal, his legacy will surely suffer. Way more than gggs. His pockets won't and I guess that matters most. But nobody will ever respect him like they don't now lmao but ggg will always get respect. Smart ppl know ggg is the most avoided fighter along wit a few others. But it's a rare thing to see a fighter who's heavily avoided still be as popular as ggg is. Ggg is the face of boxing. It doesn't matter how many Mexicans buy canelos ppvs, nobody cares about Canelo anymore UNLESS it involves Gggs name in the convo. Ppl just wanna see Canelo wit ggg but when it comes to ggg, ppl wanna see him fight many other fighters not just Canelo but those elite fighters will never ever risk it wit golovkin unless their retirement package is good lmao long live the middleweight King !!
This is PRIZE fighting, They fight for PRIZES AKA MONEY, youre a "fanboy". Youre talking about a "fair deal" in BOXING, lets put it simple on all of your "fanboy" biased so-called "fanboy" facts: Canelo has sold MILLIONS and regurlarly sells over 300k, ggg cant sell over a 100k, so that means Canelo will bring in the most fans ie he brings in the most money so he should get the larger (A-side) percentage of the cut. Youre on a boxing forum they dont represent EVERYONE. Those mexicans do buy ppvs, and it counts toward everybodys purse. Outside of here ggg is not the face of boxing, only to a certain demographic. If he (ggg) doesnt need Canelo, why is he trying to fight someone AGAIN from a lower weight class? I hate to break your heart, but only a certain demographic views ggg as nothing but a hype job, he blatantly ducked his biggest competition (ward) remember anyone between 154-168? so if you care about legacy why dont you worry about ggg's legacy. Canelo's resume already sh|ts on ggg's so legacy doesnt mean anything if you want to be fair. If people really wanted to see him fight he would be on PPV. But his ppv FLOPPED, so the truth is no one but you "fanboys" claim people want to see him fight, the FACT IS NUMBERS DONT LIE. His ppv # showed people dont care about a HYPE-JOB. Its only a certain demographic. Why isnt he held to the same standards as every other boxer? yeah a certain demographic and their "privilege" try to project it onto other athletes. Everyone sees your game, "legacy" only matters when it comes to others, ggg is gonna be 35 with NO BIG FIGHTS, what about his legacy? SEE HOW LEGACY ONLY MATTERS FOR SOME?

But here's the thing: of those 100 times, they never once said 155 when it was time to negotiate. They just surrendered the belt, just in case

But you're right on one thing, GBP have done a great job with Canelo. But marketing only goes so far if you're blatantly ducking the main guy. Instead of taking over boxing, you need a ridiculous sideshow vs Chavez not to get outsold by the Kazakh next ppv lol

In just 20 fights since then, he has made millions, won 3/4 mw titles, is sponsored by Jordan & Apple and is one of the best known boxers on the planet.
His only weakness remains the fact that he is from nowheresville and therefore does not bring with him hundreds of thousands of fans who will pay for his PPVs simply because of his nationality.
K2 have done a great job with him
