isn't fightfax the official record keeper in boxing by the ABC? i understand they count the WSB fights as pro fights, so all those records Loma supposedly has are only in "media that loves him"-land....I mean, AIBA screwed the WSB fighters, but fightfax is supposed to be official right?

just more proof that boxing is a circus.....media can just chose to ignore the official record keepers...

Od course he did. He knows he would never EVER be able to beat Lomachenko inside a boxing ring again

Salido chickened out? How can Bob even fix his lips to say something like that. He lowballed Salido and it's on record that he offered him less than Martinez got. The only difference between Walters and Salido is that Salido isn't with Top Rank so Bob can't shelve him and force him to take the fight for lowball money.

Lomachenko is going to always have problems getting big fights because his guarantee is so high and he doesn't produce enough revenue. When you got FOTY, way better ratings, way better ticket sales than Martinez and Lomachenko combined you expect to get paid well. Lomachenko is getting paid a million to fight in a bar while Salido is selling out stub hub. People watched the Ward-Kovalev fight and changed the channel rather than watch Lomachenko fight.

fans wanted to see ward-kovalev even thoguh they knew that would happen and it did. they still want to see the rematch even though they know it will happen. i would prefer ward retires with his stolen victory as it its best for boxing
Best for boxing, how? The only thing boxing needs is for the promotional wars to end and the best to start fighting the best, period. The rest will sort it self out.

Besides, it seems like a rematch would be in order so Kov can KO Ward and regain his position at the top......unless you have doubts that Kov is capable of doing such a thing.

I swear boxing fans are the worst fans of all sports. Salido gave us a quarter of his life in wars but now he's a duck......what the ****
                Money wasn't the problem.
