We had good talks with Bob. I thought we had come to some kind of an agreement. It just didn’t seem to work. Orlando Salido wants to give the fans the fights they want. And I don’t hear any fans clamoring for Salido-Lomachenko.”

Sounds like a duck. To think some haters were saying Loma was the one that was gonna duck, not much here but in youtube some of the videos people make and comments about certain fighters is worse then anything said in NSB.
This is Arum trying to promote Lomachenko.

Anyone who calls Salido a duck/chicken is delusional. The man has 100 losses already and has been in plenty of wars. Another loss for him ain't ****. He had a gruesome fight with Vargas and is going for that rematch yet he's ducking Lomachenko?

So does NSB think Arum is lying or telling the truth on this thread?

Yet posters judge the actions differently.
Lol trust me, if this was Salido chickened out on the rematch, most people wouldn't calling this a duck. They would be siding with Salido. But eastern euros are the hottest thing now and everyone is on that bandwagon so of course they are here as the Lomachenko bodyguards.

Arum only lies when it's convenient to them.

That's the current state of affairs over at Top Rank.
Manny requested a high guarantee, which he didn't get, so the fight is unlikely.

Salido requested high [undisclosed] payday, got it, then decided not to take the fight.

Why are you lumping them together?

                It is really getting disgraceful.

For starters this is about money. Secondly, most people on here have probably forgotten that the exact same situation arose back in August - http://www.latimes.com/sports/boxing...nap-story.html

Salido is probably looking for 250-300k to rematch Lomachenko, and Bob is probably only offering 100-150k. They might find 200k eventually. Or not. Who cares really.

Why do you guys keep saying this? The article states that Arum gave Salido what he wanted.

“Orlando Salido chickened out,” Arum told ******.com on Tuesday. “It’s the only way to say it. He asked for crazy money. We agreed to the crazy money. And then he says, ‘No.’ He’d just assume not take the fight. Why? Because he knows he can’t beat (Lomachenko). It was a fluke the first time. So, there’s no other way to paint it. Orlando Salido chickened out of the fight because whatever his demands were, we met those financial demands and then he let us know he’s not interested in the fight.”

                      'Crazy money' isn't a number.
