James De Gale in Miami and looks to be in great shape.
I still want Badou Jack to win but I don't think I've ever seen Chunky ripped like this before. I guess working with a nutritionist/strength coach for the first time was probably a good thing.
Hope he shows up for the whole fight this time. I thought Jack would take him, because he's usually consistent, but he looked hesitant and unmotivated to take up a gear in his last fight. With neither showing great focus, I'll pick DeGale for having a better skill set.

A DeGale that goes hard for 12 rounds beats Jack pretty easy imo. But as you said, DeGale generally takes a lot of rounds off. If that is a product of poor stamina or him just cruising, I'm not sure, but if he does that with Jack, he just might lose.
I think DeGale made a good point that he never had a nutritionist & strength & conditioning coach, it could also be the reason why he used to step off the gas in later rounds.. I'm hoping he is switched on all 12 & wins by UD/SD..
Really not sure if its his conditioning or his mental focus he just seems to switch off.
I can see him taking this fight inside and doing a number on Jack another part of me thinks its DeGale and he will make hard work of what could be a rather easy night.
I think he might stop Jack quite early if he's switched on but too many times he lets an opponent off the hook and ease their way back in.
Such an inconsistent fighter.
You feel he might struggle he shines. You think he should win easy he ends up going life & death with guys he damn well shouldn't be.
He looks in great shape though hopefully its indicator of him about to put it all together.
I genuinely can't pick a winner, both of them you get the impression are both lazy and their focus tends to wane mid fight, is it conditioning, the hours aren't spent long enough the gym ? This is not a fight I would be prepared to put money on anyone convinced one or the other walks it.
I lean towards DeGale slightly simply because I believe Jack can be hurt and DeGale has shown to have sharp heavy shots, the like I don't feel Jack has faced before. If DeGale hits him with something real big will he have the stomach for 12 rounds, can he get back up ? I guess I feel DeGale has the bigger power at this level.
