now this is a shock...andre has been getting trashed left and right, yet leads the poll.

I picked him as well.....chocolatito is a close second or 1b

the deciding factor is although RG has won titles at 4 divisions and remained undefeated, he has not faced a fighter as dominant as kov and found a way to win

Being the best isn't always dominating....its about adjusting when you need to and Ward showed true grit and greatness vs the best boxer puncher near his size.

Add in his resume with wins over Froch, Abraham, Kessler, undefeated since 12 years old...he is the man to beat in my eyes. I knew he'd take the throne once Floyd left....been looking this way since 2010

Really the best is Lomachenko, the second is Rigondeaux, then GGG, then Ward, then Gonzalez/Kovalev/Crawford.

Following this Salido is a top-5 pound for pound because he defeated Lomachenko better than Ward vs Kovalev.

          Right?

            news flash bro

you can say WOBBERY, ROBBERY 100000 times and it doesn't change the fact Kovalev lost.....a robbery is 116-111 for either guy in a fight so close....ward pull it out and banked more rounds....get over it bro

              ....that's was years ago

Loma wasn't anywhere near as seasoned and proven as a pro as he is now

balls are exactly what Salido destroyed in his fight with LOMA

Salido is a seasoned pro, with a lot of fights, tricks, and saavy....coming in as heavy as he did, and the tactics he used, he should have won.

Personally I GO BACK and forth on Loma being top 5, because of the loss to a guy like salido....as skilled as Loma is, I'd like to see him in with another tough SOB who doesn't give him respect or time to think like Salido did then he'll be top 5 definitely.

It's Ward. He earned the top spot through skills, resume, and wins.

Pretexts... so, following the argument of that guy Orlando deserves at least be in the top-5. That's ridiculous a win is not only a win, there is forms of win in this sport.

Ah, and Salido was heavy, yep, but he was tired since round 8 and that's not normal in Orlando.

Ward was not clear in that fight vs Kovalev, he won only because he was the local mal, period.

If he can beat Kovalev in a good form he will be the #1, no doubt about this but he doesn't want to fight again.
