Ward won bro....many pro fighters, trainers, officials had it 1-2 points for ward....I could see a draw or wouldn't have cried foul if kov won...the fight had like 4 swing rounds.

when two elite fighters square off, its rare you see a dominant performance
...close fights happen...wish some people would stop acting like this fight was Augustus vs Burton or Whitaker vs chavez.....those were ROBBERIES.
Bro, your post is full of pretexts. Ward is from U.S.A and is obvious he is the local man. No way a guy from Russia will be the winner in a close fight vs a super star from U.S.A fighting in Las Vegas.

    Then...

Ward "won" only because he was the local man, his fight was mediocre and horrible, he was clinching in a crazy mode.

He is a good fighter but not that good of people from U.S.A thinks he is. And no way he is the #1. He needs beat clearly Kova in the rematch but he is scared to fight again.

He is very limited in a lot of aspects.

no, but that's just your observation of defining p4p. There is no 'official' representation it is a subjective question. His obviously the most talented fighter along with Rigo, resume's regardless. Just look at the Walters fight, a guy who dismantled Donaire. He made it look so easy it was ridiculous almost and he didn't even step down the pedal fully. Tellling

talent wise he is one of the best......it has to be proven in the ring.....eye test only goes so far but he is definitely on the way.

same thing with GGG, to a much greater degree....the talent is there but its hard to know how good they are if they are not fighting elite competition

Loma is pretty young still, GGG not so much but I believe 2017-18 will define some legacy for Gennady.

I have to go Ward. Granted that fight could've gone either way but he got the W against a absolute wrecking machine with skills
