Well, he outright got robbed. He has every right to voice his opinion and vent his anger. Anybody in his position would have done the same. If anything Ward should be the one criticised for shying away from a rematch.

That's because you can't complain too much about getting knocked cold

Kovalev feels he won that fight (which he did) and got robbed due to home judges. I have no problem with him refusing to accept that.

This is why we need the rematch
There wasn't a clear cut winner

I thought Kovalev won the fight but I'm sick of hearing him bi.tch. He sounds like some of the clowns on NSB. He has a rematch clause. Ward is just using the retirement talk as leverage. If he fights again it will be against Kovalev.

I'm glad he's been let off the leash and that we get to see some more of his personality. He's a funny, no-nonsense guy and basically the most stereotypically Russian dude I've ever seen, and this kind of back-and-forth will hopefully do a better job of selling the rematch to the general public

Even though I felt he won the fight by 1 point after watching it couple of times, he needs to quit whinning and just focus on the rematch. Still hope he wins the rematch.

The only thing that surprised me was him throwing his trainer and all American trainers under the bus.

Boone talked about how much Kovalev had improved the second time around with JDJ as his trainer. So that surprised me he would throw JDJ under the bus. But I guess this proves Abel was right about what he says about Kovalev

Boone was stopped by Periban in the interim...he was likely still punchy..lol

Did Boone release the footage of the first fight like he said?

                      Nope

                      **** that dude.
