Nah 140 always has explosive guys. The lame divisions stay the same. Cruiserweight will always be a reject division. 154 always sucks. Super Middle fell off hard in the last 10 years. 126 fell off when Hamed left it. The best weight classes are...in this order...160, 147, Hvy...135...175...all the rest Cruiser will always be the worst. Too small for heavy, too lazy to cut weight.
That's not necessarily a testament to the current divisions, but more to the athletes these divisions produce. 160 is a perfect weight because you can have the speed of smaller guys and the power of heavyweights. Lard asses who've never done anything athletic in their life, much less Boxing, will argue that. But take my word for it or ask any REAL Boxing trainer.
Just because you dunno **** about the division it doesn't mean it's bad.

You must be high on Usyk and Bellew. Bellew looked like a caveman swinging wildly against a shot BJ Flores. Bellew is ok just because its a bar room brawl but he fights like a ****** idiot. Haye is gonna destroy him at HW. Or you like Huck. Is that enough to say its better than Crawford and Broner fighting the contenders at 140? I don't know. Usyk and Huck aren't gonna fight. Bellew is about to get smashed. I'd still favor 140 slightly with crowd pleasing contenders like Granados, Imam, and flawed but flashy Dulorme. Oh yeah and Postol can still make things interesting even though he is just a contender since Crawford took his lunch.Last edited by Boxing lives; 01-02-2017, 01:13 AM.Comment

Yep. Then you got 50 weight classes separated by only 7lbs. A guy can take a shit before the weigh in and move down 2 divisions. The competition is already thin down there. Consolidate the divisions. That's why you have the top guys in the divisions regularly fighting guys with either double digit losses or less than ten total fights. But if you don't like the lower weights and don't call those fighters great you're called a casual.Comment

Okay, so from lightweight to heavyweight I've bothered with scoring from weakest at 1st and strongest at last place.
- 140lbs Jr Welter
- 135lbs Lightweight
- 175lbs Light Heavyweight
- 168lbs Super Middleweight
- 154lbs Light Middleweight
- 160lbs Middleweight
- 201lbs heavyweight
- 147lbs Welterweight
- 200lbs Cruiserweight

I'm not salty. In that topic I also put Chilemba in there. TheCell8 brought up some good points as to why Chilemba may be a better win than Bundu and Algieri and I kind of agree. I have no problem admitting I may be wrong or looking at the facts and changing my opinion. But nobody can explain to me why beating a guy who lost to a guy that had two fights is a good win. You said Iunoe accomplished a lot in a little amount of time. Well that guy beat the same guy with only two fights on his resume. And prior to that fight he'd lost to a guy with 12 losses. These guys are constantly fighting guys with double digit losses or with less than 15 fights. That wouldn't be accepted in any other weight classes. The competition in the lower weights isn't that good. And guys move up 3 division and only go up 5lbs. That's one weight class in most other divisions. But I'm supposed to believe these guys are p4p greats for moving up 5lbs? Naw. I'm not falling for this boxing hipster shitComment
