edit: and you are praising 160 instead

200lbs ****s all over 160lbs. GGG is the only fighter worth a damn at the weight (not including Canelo who hasnt fought at the 160 limit) and his main 'rivals' wont even go near him. Cruiserweight is stacked from 1-15, the best fight the best, you get great fights and big KO's.

    1. Oleksandr Usyk (WBO)
    2. Murat Gassiev (IBF)
    3. Denis Lebedev
    4. Tony Bellew (WBC)
    5. Krzysztof Glowacki
    6. Marco Huck
    7. Yunier Dorticos
    8. Mairis Briedis
    9. Krzysztof Wlodarczyk
    10. Youri Kalenga
    11. Ilunga Makabu
    12. Thabiso Mchunu
    13. Olanrewaju Durodola
    14. Dmitry Kudryashov
    15. Beibut Shumenov (WBA)

Match up any of these and youve got a interesting fight.
Again....just because CW currently has a few stiffs that are equally inadequate, that does not change the physiology of the division historically. To small for Heavy. Too lazy to lose weight. You clearly don't know jack schit about Boxing. Go learn something before challenging the expertise of Lou Cipher, the far superior intelligence, experience, knowledge and physical being.

160lbers are too small for 168 and too lazy to make 154.

Thats how much sense your logic makes.

Youre talking the division historically, yet the thread title has the word 'currently' in it. Historically 168 was historically abysmal, yet during the Ward, Froch Super six era it was one of the best in boxing

****** ass 154 and 168 are fake divisions created for media hypes like Sugar Ray Leonard. Newjacks like you stroll in during the off-season of WWE and talk schit about Canelo for the 155lb reign, then praise 154 and 168? Go learn some Boxing history before you say some ****** schit like that to Lou Cipher, a TRUE student of the game, a life long WARRIOR in the game, and a Boxing historian with more knowledge about Boxing than you have about life. Jagoff.

A dozen and one posters have already called you out on this but Cruiserweight is in no shape or form a crap division. It's one of the last bastions of no-nonsense competitive boxing in the sport. Very few divas, the best fighting the best, tons of action, vicious KOs. How you can label it a crap division can only be down to ignorance or prejudice frankly.

Is that enough to say its better than Crawford and Broner fighting the contenders at 140? I don't know. Usyk and Huck aren't gonna fight. Bellew is about to get smashed. I'd still favor 140 slightly with crowd pleasing contenders like Granados, Imam, and flawed but flashy Dulorme. Oh yeah and Postol can still make things interesting even though he is just a contender since Crawford took his lunch.
Ah I see. Ignorance it is then.

Seeing as how Huck is in your avi I can tell you have a bias. To each his own I guess. I am not ignorant to the division. Maybe the fringe contenders but I've seen the top guys and I'm unimpressed. I tend to be bored while watching them guys. I've never really been a fan of any cruiserweight fighter to the point where I want to follow their career.

There are far too many divisions. too many "champs" noboy cares about. Half of them would be enough.

Don't follow or watch 105-112, hopefully Nietes can move up to 115. (I guess these can be considered the weakest)

                      Junior Bantamweight/115 is stacked.
Bantamweight/118 is decent, Yamanaka top guy.
Junior Featherweight/122 is decent, Rigo top guy.
                      Featherweight/126 is stacked.
Junior Lightweight/130 is decent, Loma top guy.
                      Lightweight/135 is decent.
Junior Welterweight/140 is decent, Bud top guy.
                      Welterweight/147 is insanely stacked.
                      Junior Middleweight/154 is stacked.
Middleweight/160 is decent, GGG top guy.
                      Super Middleweight/168 is decent.
                      Light Heavyweight/175 is stacked.
                      Cruiserweight/200 is stacked.
                      Heavyweight is stacked.
