I would say no. Bruce Lee wasn't a great boxer so why would the guy who help teach him be a great boxer? Bruce Lee made his living as an actor. His skill as a martial artist made him believable as a kung fu fighter in his movie rolls.I don't think he ever made money in any type of fighting competition, boxing, karate, kung fu or any other type of professional combat. GGG makes his living as a pro boxing champion and he has been a fighter since he was a kid. GGG ain't losing a street fight to tiny little IP man, no way, no how.
Both Bruce and Ip Man would have to focus on punching in their martial art forms if not entirely western boxing styles to even be expected to make it to the mid rounds.
Wing Chun is a solid kung fu style (I'm biased doe, it's the only other martial art other than boxing I have been trained in) and is mainly standup striking with limited kicks but very different in methodologies thus the punching is entirely different but I could see it still being effective in a toe to toe exchange.
Boxing is the superior martial art, and the world knows it. That's why these mma fanboys are so shook, they are coping hard.
