I remember when that was the excuse for the Cold War between GBP and Top Rank.

Then Schaefer leaves and Oscar supposedly buries the hatchet with Bob. They are going to cooperate to bring us many great matchups. Lots of lip service and blah blah blah.

But it didn't exactly work out that way, did it?

Again TR has few fighters compared to SHO/PBC. Bradley fought Pac, Provo, Marquez, Pac, Chaves, Vargas, Rios, Pac. Compare that to any fighter at PBC.

Vargas fought Bradley, Sadam Ali, Pacquiao, and I don't expect him to go back fighting cans.
Those 3 were off the top of my head, there are more. 'Top' fighters is subjective, Shafikov's last 3 opponents are Barthelemy, Herring and Commey, Jack's last 3 opponents are Bute, Groves and Dirrell, Fonfara's last 3 opponents are Smith, Cleverly and Joe Smith. Those guys are all top 10 contenders, with the exception of Chavez Jr who was still favourite to beat Fonfara.

Who did Porter fight before Broner? Ermmmm... Alexander, Malignaggi, Diaz? You do realise fighters aren't going to fight 30 killers in a row.

You're listing guys like Vargas, Provo, Rios as credible wins for Bradley and telling me the fighters I listed haven't fought top opposition back to back? You must be extremely out of touch with the sport. And then you even have the cheek to list Chaves as a credible opponent for Bradley, but then go on ask me who Thurman has beaten other than Porter

Again, you're mentioning Sadam Ali as a credible win while dismissing my suggestions, it makes absolutely zero sense.

So the only credible answer you've given me, in answer to your own question, is Bradley. He's the only one who's been fighting top opposition and even he barely matches your standards.

These Haymon fanboys' logic is poor. Schaefer took all of the GBP fighters and handed them over to your uncle Al. So which TR/GBP fighters will Arum and Oscar supposed to work with when Schaefer took all of them?

Even then they made fights together like Ali vs Vargas, Matthysse vs Postol, Matthysse vs Provo. Those are all TR/GBP joint promotions

Lol wrong how? TR have shown they work with anyone. From don king to gb. This is nothing more than a troll thread from a pbc fanboy moron. I can only blame myself for taking the bait though

Haymon fighters were banned from HBO until this year. So how was he supposed to work with those promoters when HBO wouldn't allow his fighters on their network? Like I said, you're a joke.

The general tradition in the Haymon stable is when a top fighter loses his big fight, he goes back to fighting cab drivers. Not the case at TR if you care to look at their fighters' histories. Most times they face a top fighter after a big loss.

Broner who lost to Maidana could have fought Matthysse, also a Haymon fighter at that time also lost to Garcia. But for some inexplicable reason Broner/Matthysse fight was never made.

Haha yeah cause he tried so hard to make fights with hbo fighters when it took him this long to make his own top fighters fight each other. It took Arum bending haymon over in court to work to get him to work with him. Lol dumbass

arum, like don king, built his empire by keeping things in house.

no different than what haymon is doing now.

the problem for arum is that he's running out of big match ups, while haymon still has plenty left.

That's why it's no big surprise why TR top fighters fight each other. Because those are all Arum got, ta da!
