Boxing fans are dumb period!!! It's only like 10% of that I have respect for, Unbiased and articulate. I probably have respect for one or two posters on here maximum. In boxing it takes two to tango. And in big fights it takes more than two to make a fight, these boxers are NOT scared of each other. Maybe their promoters are but NOT the boxers themselves.

Ever think maybe the tickets are more expensive because they had to pay Jacobs more?

        Of course not.

Jacobs hadn't sold out one fight. All ticket prices reflect is they need a way to make sure they cover the extra money Jacobs wanted.
Promoters don't negotiate and agree to purses and then figure out ticket prices after the fact. The purses and ticket prices are part of the negotiations. This fight will be similar to the Ward Kovalev fight...low but satisfactory ppv sales and a gate revenue that makes both sides happy. As long as there are no competing ppv shows in March...Jacobs hold out will be justified when the numbers come in.

Being a mando should never have an effect on the business side. Purse bids and structured splits are tools to facilitate negotiation not guidelines. Also, each fight is its own entity. Even if Jacobs has no fan base he has value in that more of Golovkin's fan base will pay to see him fight Jacobs as opposed to Lemieux.

'' “So people can say anything, but I think the thing that ticked me [off], more so than people saying anything, was that I was scared to fight Triple-G. Now that is so far from the truth. It was more so about making sure everything else was in order, making sure that the contracts were right. Because not only am I fighting, I’m fighting for a living and I’m fighting for my family, and that has to be in order. I’m a businessman as well. And I have a great business team. So if my team has a job, then I have to make sure I allow myself and my team to make the best opportunities for all of us.” ''

its a business as well as a sport. tbh, no sport is as cruel to its athletes than boxing. get as much as you can and fnck everything else.

you're right..... but how come Golovkin fans think that GGG is allowed to be a businessman, and yet nobody else is?

GGG is entitled to everything..... but everyone else must take whatever they are offered
