People had the impression Danny was scared, because Danny created that impression. Takes 9 months off after Quillin, only to rematch Mora. Then the December date falls apart and his team gives an excuse he wouldn't have been ready in time, despite him saying previously that he would. And at $3mill Danny did almost price himself out of the fight.

Oh well, water under the bridge. I still look forward to Golovkin/Jacobs more so than Golovkin/Alvarez.

So by the logic you applied to Jacobs, trip is scared of Alvarez. Jacobs held out for what he felt he was worth in a fight vs Trip and he eventually signed. Trip is holding out for what he believes he is worth in a fight vs Alvarez but he isn't scared like you say Jacobs is? Both fighters are doing what you would do....maximize your money in every fight regardless of public opinion.

Yes, a fair payday. Before the fight was mandated Loeffler said he thinks the fight will be bigger than Lemieux-GGG. After the fight was made they released the tickets and they're double the price o GGG's most expensive tickets (Lemieux-GGG). So K2 was going to double their profits but pay Jacobs only 200k more than Lemieux? Besides Canelo, who else is GGG selling $1000 tickets against? Jacobs is a strong B-side and the ticket prices prove it.

Ggg is asking for something reasonable, which is ppv upside. That's standard. 3m for a mando which brings weak fanbase and ratings, that's not standard at all. It's kinda outrageous

By FAR!!!! They say everyone else out prices themselves and yet expect Canelo to pay him more than $15,000,000??? And want at LEAST 40%??? I used to blame CanYellow but after seeing GGG turn down $15 million I hope that fight NEVER gets made! They could use that same amount and sign Saunders, BOTH Charlo Bros, Andrade and STILL have $$$$$ left over!

I'm just glad the fight got signed period. I'm ready to see how Jacobs performs in this fight and how GGG holds up to Jacob's power and vice versa. If GGG wins nobody can say that Jacobs was a bum because he's definitely not. But if Jacobs win I can only imagine how the boxing world will react or will Jacobs get any credit or will they discredit GGG as being over hyped?? Thats what makes this fight interesting.
