Comments Thread For: Frank Warren: Saunders Could Upset Golovkin and Canelo!

SO 2016 was another knockout year for British boxing but 2017 can be even better. We need some big fights to make sure it is, and here are some I want to see over the next 12 months.

no he can't, Golovkin breaks his body down then stops him, I can even picture Saunders taking a knee from a body shot then when he beats the count Golovkin rushes in and stops him, Canelo might get a KOTY contender for the third straight year if he fought Saunders in 2017

If either of those two get a shot at this belt smuggler I'm betting the FARM against him. Saunders suks! One of the WORST Champions out there. A NOBODY last minute replacement almost beat him!!!

exactly, I thought he lost against Andy Lee tbh, I thought Lee won 9-3 (115-111 he was dropped twice), I was shocked when they gave the decision to Saunders

Why does Boxing Scene keep posting his columns? It's irritating

And remember Lee got STOMPED by Chavez Jr. The LEGENDARY Emmanuel Steward who Lee was living and training with at the time couldn't even help Lee....

No shot Saunders beats either. I doubt Saunders would've beaten the version of Gabe Rosado who got washed vs Monroe.

That kid BJS fought didn't look like a scrub to me (not a world beater but certainly a useful fighter), short notice, inactive for a year or more and had to drop about 50lbs.

You can't rate him on that performance alone he is clearly much better than that and when in shape he's very talented. Hopefully it serves as a wake up call IDGAF what others say if this guy takes his career seriously he's a tough fight for anybody he's just so lazy and talent alone will only get you so far.
