He brings a lot to the table and if Lomachenko's team won't pay him fairly then he can just go make money elsewhere.
A rematch with Vargas would sell out Stub Hub while Loma can go fight in a 2,000 seat venue again.Comment

Salido is an exciting, all action warrior who has been in two straight Fights of the Year. Because of the large Mexican fan base he brings good tv ratings and can pack venues like the StubHub Center.

So... It seems like Lomachenko and his team are throwing Salido a bone, Salido has no world championship belt and his last three results are a loss and two draws I personally thought he deserved to lose against Vargas and win the second fight against Martinez
So I see Salido as 1-2 in his last three but regardless he's had THREE fxcking chances of winning a world title THREE!!!!!!
And he has not won it, so again...
I ask you, why should he get paid more than Martinez when he has flopped three times?
If Lomo wants to straighten that "L" that Salido gave him, then right or wrong he's gonna have to pay Salido's asking price. It has nothing to do with what Salido is "worth".......Comment

Besides, he got less money against Vargas. He got paid $50K against Vargas. With some Mexican TV money, which I doubt would even surpass the amount Lomachenko was offering him.
My guess as to why he made this decision is because he thinks he can beat Vargas and then fight Lomachenko and demand even more money as the champ.
He realizes a Lomachenko rematch right away would be the end of his career and he wont get to 'double dip' if he were to lose.Comment

Salido wants to have his way with the finances since he won the first fight. There are other lucrative options there to be had for Salido in the mean time since he does have a very attractive style. Hopefully they can make the rematch eventually but you can't really lose however you match these guys up. This division is loaded!Comment
