Salido don't want that work

I never followed Salido's early career closely so I can't fairly say. I saw when he was juiced against Guerrero, and then his loss to Gamboa. He looked great beating Juanma but I get the impression he hit his stride before those fights, and then became a tough old piece of leather that just wouldn't go away. I don't think he's shot now or anything like that. I just think he's been through too much and the body is getting old.Comment

any of these guys that he faces are tough,so I wouldn't call it a duck,it's acutally smart of him,he can become a champ again before facing loma and unify, which means more money,,but I doubt he's facing vargas again,i think vargas will lose to berchelt,,the way salido fights, tough, not afraid to lose, faced guys like gamboa, garcia, vargas, loma, marquez,no way anybody can say he ducks fighters,..wait and try to become a champ again and unify with lomachenko,he's already in his mid thirties, get all the money you canComment

In the rematch, you are correct, Salido was shamelessly robbed. That was pretty awful.Comment

He's 0-1-2 in his last 3 fights and he has no belt.
Top Rank shouldn't break the bank to get the rematch just because Salido picked up a split decision win two years, which many believe he did it with a series of dirty tactics.
If he wants the fight, he'll take what's given.
He's likely opting to fight Vargas instead because he thinks that Vargas is an easier opponent and that he would get white washed by this version of Lomachenko. He's right about that. Lomachenko would send him into retirement.Comment

I agree with most of that but did you watch that first Martinez fight? That was no robbery. Martinez got 2 KDs to Salido's 1 I believe and Salido got a point deducted. Rocky won the first but most people missed that fight because it was not picked up by major networks so I'm not jumping your shyt or anything.
