Valero punched hard as advertised. His shots didn't have much leverage like a Tommy hearns for instance but his hands were very heavy kinda like George foreman.

There are two types of power punchers. Pacman and Tyson have crazy snaps on their punches while Valero and Foreman are thudding punchers. The latter causes internal damage.
