it barely had 8800 people in attendance and less than 400k watched on showtime. Two local fighters couldn't hit 10,000 in attendance smh. I guess they aren't that popular even at home

'Justification' comes from being the second best middleweight right now. I like the kid and glad he's talking it up...I'll spend some $$ on this.

I hope it sells out for the sport of boxing. I really dont care who pulls more #s. Selling out MSG will say a lot about boxing popularity. Hopefully it also shows these promoters and managers that people will watch boxing when you put together good fights.

I was thinking about the HBO PPV buys, not the gate. Danny being American, if he does a lot of talking and convinces people he's a credible threat to GGG, he could make a difference there.

But he barely did any views on FREE TV vs Quillin as well though. I'll be surprised if this does that much better than GGG vs Lemieux tbh.

Like 50k watched Lemieux-Ndam (and there were no replays to catch) which was a really good fight on FS2, there were maybe 5 people talking about it here because only that many got FS2 at that point.

Jacobs is a guy that has been viewed much more in the US than a guy like Lemieux. Jacobs would have been in much better position though had he actually fought twice last year instead of only once against Mora.

So I doubt he is doubling the amount of buys from the Lemieux fight though which is what they really need to look decent.

Nobody at PBC has any idea how to publicise and sell their shows, and GGG is a much bigger name than Quillin. If the US casual fans think he's going to be fighting a credible American opponent, that should make a difference.
