Your probably right, they want to keep pushing that Golovkin fight back as far as possible.

Chevez is worth way less that Golovkin is.

But more important, Canelo will use this to try to push the ggg fight back even further, especially if Golovkin looks good against Jacobs.

Canelo is gonna cash in as much as he can before he fights ggg in september after ggg himself has a big fight with Jacobs.
In the end Oscar was right in milking this because its gonna set up nicely for a big event September.
It will be used as an excuse not to fight Golovkin in December.

Then we have to throw in mouth of the year, "anyone can get it from 154 to 168."
Yea, because ggg said that in 2016. I guess Ward said he'd be HW champ too. Wasn't it by age 30?

Look at all these "Drama Queens". This is PRIZE Fighting, are you casuals, suprised that Boxers make "business Fights?"...oh thats right ggg made one THIS YEAR against a WW. GGG's team is known for trying to play "hardball" (ODH's game is eightball) He's gradually moving up and making money while doing it. And by the time he fights ggg, he's gonna out-weigh ggg and then ggg's power wont be a factor and Canelo is gonna outbox him and probably stop him late, because ggg doesnt have experience in the late rounds. Canelo will be huge superstar of boxing, and it will be gg....what was his name again?

I understand the desire for more money, but what is Junior's "Plan B?" Can you get more from GGG? Can you get more from DeGale or Jack? Can you get more from "Zurdo" Ramirez? I can see Junior walking away from this fight, and then getting his azz whooped by Porky Medina! Take the $6 Million and start camp in February! You have a lot of work to do!

one thing is for sure. if alvared hits the scales near 160 and over at the weigh in he can kiss his 155 self made weight class good bye.his body won't drain down without hurting his style.

You're right, there is no plan 'B' for this kid. If he refuses this payday, it could be the biggest mistake of his career...

And from what I read, it's $6 million plus PPV upside! It's one thing to believe that your a new man, and that you can beat Canelo! It's another thing to believe "you are the man," and you don't need Canelo!

This has to be a joke right?

                  I thought Canelo wasn't a middleweight.

Canelo just keeps on losing credibility in my eyes. And this is a waste of a fight too. No one was asking for this fight.
